Updated stats from Fox Sports from yesterdays game are in.

Reagan Campbell-Gillard 7 runs for 34 metres.

Your highest paid forward, ladies and gentlemen.

NRL stats have him at 9 runs for 54 metres. Which is still poor averaging 6 metres per hit up. I think most forwards usually aim for 8 - 9 metres per carry. Fish and Tamou both averaged 9.5 metres per run yesterday.

Only player wages...DT has Milford on $1m. So plenty of halves overpaid.

Atleast he will be a serviceable player. Unlike a few others

I know for a fact Fox Sports Lab rewatches the game the next morning to correct stats. A lot of mistakes are done when watching it live.

Not sure if NRL does it.

Either way, 34 or 54 metres are putrid from a 'rep' forward against one of the worst packs in the comp.

Yeah NRL re edit the next day. I know someone who does it.

Great news. I thought Sele was excellent until he got injured.

Was it JFH playing on the left edge to start the game? Sele was the lock.

I'd like to see Luai at FB if this can't happen. He is the x factor the team needs

His speed and ball playing would certainly help our attack. The ball playing is something we lack from Edwards and DWZ.

But the game against Brisbane last year showed he still had a lot to learn about positioning and defence playing fullback.

That is the thing with it. It is what Edwards does well

He definitely played like shit yesterday, no argument there.

I'm probably in the minority on here, but I would start him next week beside Tamou. We need him playing at his best and helping get us get off to better starts with field position. Give him another chance to improve, with the opportunity to start and show what he can do. And if he doesn't, then fine replace him Grant until he gets his shit together.

I don't see Leota as a starting level prop at this stage. He can't play long enough minutes, and is better coming off the bench for impact.

He's punch drunk after his broken jaw.
He will never be any good now.

This is a bit of a myth.

I have had Fox Sports Lab do stats for me regarding his hit ups and metres before and after the broken jaw.

In 2018 before his broken jaw he made 96m per game and after it 93m per game.

No huge difference.

NRL site list him 9 runs for 54 metres. From what I saw I prefer those figures, but its still about half what he should be doing. They also show 40 tackles. I thought he was in the game a bit but obviously needs to do better.
