Oh dear.

Tom, I'm not about to explain myself. But maybe, just maybe it's frustration at the constant complaining, when the team is top of the ladder, for the 3rd year running.

So I'm complaining about folks complaining. Yep, that's me. 😂 😂 Deal with it. Or put me on ignore.
It's a discussion forum, not a cheerleading forum though. Nothing wrong with being happy with how we are going, but we could be even better. A 50 point flogging went begging last night and putting 50 on the Storm would be a wet dream.

Speaking up when players have a bad game or make mistakes isn't hating on them. Luai had been pretty poor for a few weeks and needed a rocket. He stepped up last night as he has in the past. As they say, you are as good as your last performance.

The last 15 minutes seemed like they were all playing for themselves, not so much as a unit. At least when they were deep in attack. Defence and making metres was spot on all game.

I'd also prefer either Kenny or Salmon on the bench, not both. The style we play another bigger body coming on would demoralise teams.

I'm not suggesting it's a 'cheerleading forum', but honestly the level of negativity

on this forum is mind boggling.

That's all.

😁

Last night late in the first half, suggestions of hooking Tago. One prime example.

If I hadn't known the score....would have though Penrith were getting the cleaners

put through them, Instead of winning.

The biggest win that Penrith has ever had against the Storm, and all some can find

is stuff to whinge about. 😂😂. Most of it, isn't even constructive criticism.

I think with the players the Storm were missing we were entitled to win and we did very comfortably.

Defensively we were outstanding again and really served it up to the Storm.

Most of the talk post game has focussed on our execution and the fact we rather failed to win by a much bigger margin.

We probably should or could have scored another two or three tries easily but the conditions were appalling and it couldn’t have been easy to execute some of the plays or passes required. If you said to me before the game we were going to win the way we did I would have taken it.

I don’t understand why Alice is copping the extent of the criticism she is receiving, I understand where she is coming from and I think sometimes some of us expect to much and we need to embrace our wins without a focus on certain negatives either from individuals or collectively.

It was a great win in challenging conditions, and showed a lot of character to bounce back after the loss to the Eels even if the Storm were significantly under strength.

He's dropping the ball at least twice a game, we are doing damage to his career long term by not dropping him

Naths kicking game last night was night and day compared to last week.

Tago needs to be made to do extras t training every time he drops it.

Thought edwards bombed 2 chances last night but otherwise was brilliant.

Kiks is in special form.

Hopefully luai gets some confidence out of that.

Agree with others thought kemmy was really good when he came on.

Naths kicking when on song and at his best makes such a good footy team.

Happy to get the win.

Ive been one of salmons biggest critics but i dont get knocking him. Hes been solid imo. I would like to see how we go with smith or eiso on the bench tho.

I think we need a 2nd rower on the bench in the place of Kenny but the bench make up seems to follow what other teams are doing.

So I don't see it changing

She's copping that criticism because she's putting people down and being pretty aggressive at people for discussing the game and not being positive and she's not even backing it up with disagreeing using football analysis or discussion it's simple name calling and condescension.

Crichton was held up with an unmarked To'o outside him.
Also dropped a kick that he scores if he catches it.

That is 12 points right there before the other misses. Didn't hurt us but on another night possibly does. That is all people are saying

He is learning to play centre at the same time as learning to play and adjust to first grade. So he has done exceptionally well thus far.

There is no way he is getting dropped from first grade. The positives he provides far outweighs the couple of drop balls, and we need him to keep playing first grade and keep developing so that he can hopefully get these errors out of his game before it’s time for the finals games.

I came on here about an hour after last nights game ended and if you didn’t know the score line you would have been scrambling for fox sports just to check the outcome.

A lot of the older amongst us watch the game and call things as they see it without this in depth statistical analysis which so many seem to think it is the be all and end all.

Great night, great win, i agree not perfect execution, but what’s not to enjoy sitting in the top of the table after beating the Storm.

Embrace it enjoy it.

I'm copping it Kilkenny because it suits some folks to do just that.

If these folks want to wallow and moan. So be it. Doesn't mean I'm not going to challenge their opinions, (which is my right, in fact everyone's right)

I'll chugg along being positive about my footy team, because that's who I am. Yep call me a flag waver, a cheerleader.......😂...whatever

I need my positive mind set, and nothing or noone is going to change my mind. I'm dealing with some tough medical issues at the moment (hip replacement) and I will not allow some of you prigs to bring me down to your sad sack level. 😃😃

Frustrating to watch live, painful even, I agree we should done better but it shouldn’t detract from the positives Of which very few were mentioned in the immediate aftermath of the game.

If we didn’t create the opportunities which we bombed, three, four five I’ll have to watch the replay and add them up but we barely gave them a sniff while creating lots of opportunities. I wanted to put 50 or more on them, we should have but it wasn’t to be. Great win none the less Which needs to be said and hasn’t been acknowledged enough. We

Biggest ever win against them.
Them being planted in their own half the 2nd half
All outstanding

The missed chance to really put some mental scars on them that getting 50 against them. Would of brought is the one downside

Scored a couple of tries, a lot of good Carrie’s, ran for good metres, great defence and work rate in defence, the dropped ball‘s are frustrating and something he needs to resolve no doubt. I’m not sure dropping him is the solution, he’ll sort it out I’m sure.

We have become a club where we need to be clinical. 3 missed tries and the right side really needs work. Luai played awesome. I am ok with Salman on the bench, but the last 2 games he offers nothing and waste a bench spot to only play 10 mins which is costing us $6000 a game I would have Hopgood, C Smith Matt E rotation for that 17th spot.

I agree 100% it was frustrating to watch us live bombing good try scoring opportunities but it shouldn’t be the focus. I would be more concerned if we didn’t create opportunities off the back of such a dominant performance.
