Benji stats: 2 tackles, 5 missed tackles, 1 'hitup', 1 error.
Ran sideways all night waiting for hole runners. They never came.

Plus that absurd chip kick on the second tackle with a few minutes left on the clock that lead to Inglis' fourth try. I think benching him was meant to give him the message to drop those high risk plays.

This was a predictable result. The one thing I will say though is: When you are suffering as much as the tigers are at the moment, you DO NOT leave the player who is the most skilful at the club on the bench, no matter how bad his form. Potter needs to be shown the door immediately! Sheens was guilty of one error last year and that was changing his halfback every second week, Potter has committed the ultimate sin, not putting his best team on the paddock!

Marshall was rubbish again.

Marshall was more energetic and lively which was good to see.

But he still played shit.

Blair is a disgrace. His worst game for us yet. f**king coward just disappeared. 4 runs for the entire game.

f**king pea heart.

Benji was woeful..... & that is being kind.
Defensively he breaks from the line & rushes up, creating holes. This is compounded when he goes for the arm grab & misses.
In attack he continually tries the miracle play & the more the clock ticked, the worse he got. Chipping on the 2nd tackle (& coming up empty) with minutes left, was nothing short of a disgrace. 3 plays later, GI scores his 4th try. For the morale of the team they needed to finish their sets inside Souths 10m & keep the 2nd half 12-6. Which would have given the team, especially the rookies, some light.
Tonight he tried to prove a point.... & failed. I have been a strong supporter of Benji in the past, but I feel now that his time has come & he should look for opportunities elsewhere. Potter should not start him in the 17 next week.

(Benji scored -3 in Supercoach)

It's not Potters fault that our back row and centres couldn't make a f**king tackle in the opening 35 minutes.

It's not Potters fault there is no depth at the club at all in the forwards. Or that there are no dominant back rowers in the side. That is entirely the fault of TIM SHEENS.

Last 45 mins of the game Souths won 16-10. Potter's halftime message certainly made a difference.

Marshall was good. That chip kick was crud but everything else was quality. He was one of our best. Fulton, Ava, Nofo, Marshall and Tedesco were the ones who played well.

Tedesco is really growing into his role.

Potter can't coach. His plans may work against the Wakefield Wildcats but against South.

Tackling is about desire and wanting to put your body on the line. This is instilled by the coach.

Sheens never instilled it at the club.

Don't let that get in the way of your dopey argument.

Nofoaluma played very well and looked comfortable even while being part of a well beaten side. Gould suggested he'd be better at centre and I agree.

At least it wasnt called by Ray Hadley with (insert douche sidekick).

Tedesco was solid and Nofouluma was impressive.

Even Woods and Farah not putting in 110% tonight in the ruck.

Dropping Marshall again next week is absurd. Anybody who thinks there are better options in our club are kidding themselves. There were plenty worse than him out there. How Blair has played this much nrl is a disgrace. I could name a dozen blokes I grew up with who didn't make the grade but are twice the player he is.

Do we employ a wrestling coach, I don't think we dominated one tackle tonight? Gee our support staff need a clean out!

I really feel sorry for Liam Fulton, puts it on the line week in, week out, plays any position asked of him and plays it well, tackles himself to a standstill - he doesn't deserve that shit. (like to know his stats for tonight)

We are a deadset rabble.

On that performance Marshall is our best player. Potter has to kick his arse and get him playing well but we need him desperately out there.

Tedesco and Nofoaluma were very good. Fulton tried his guts out like always. Ava was impressive too. Simona can't tackle.

Pettybourne, Blair and Thompson were the worst. All thiefs. Worst back row in history.

Marshall tried but he was crap, give him a half, no just give him Anasta at 7. I think from the comments above, madunit sums it up best,
Marshall was more energetic and lively which was good to see.

But he still played shit.

Tedesco deserves a mention for his effort, gee he puts his body on the line unlike the previous fullback;-)

I can't believe the official stats had Pettybourne missing 3 tackles, Blair 2, Thompson 1, Sue 2, Woods 2 and Fulton 2 so the issue tonight was Farah who missed 4:roll:

I think the 4 Robbie missed should have been added to Pettybourne's 3 for a start.
