Also wasn’t asking you.
They can miss soft tackles. They're aggressive and often f**k up as a result. Doesnt make the result any better. But you can't criticize their effort or heart. Which is what Tamou is being criticized for.
59m gained and 3 missed tackles. One directly resulting in a try... and he was off the field almost immediately so the coach likrly felt similar about him. He is supposed to be leading our pack. But hes doing well if he's in our top 5 forwards these days. No name reserve graders are coming in matching or exceeding him.
I thought something had to be wrong. Just because he was taken off when he was and not brought back.He was actually taken off because he had been crook all week and probably shouldn’t have played.
Yeah I thought he'd finally turned the corner for us. Apparently I was wrong and the people who say he plays 1 or 2 good games a year are right. Griffin hooked him so he seems to agree. Shame because he'd be our best forward by a large margin if he really dug deep.

But cool story, I liked your use of stats this time.
He was on for 28mins, so let’s say the possession was about 50/50, that’s 14 mins attacking, during which he made 8 hit ups, so that’s what , one every 1:30ish.
He was also defending for about 14mins during which he had 24 tackles.
Now, I’m not saying he had a great game, he didn’t, he was obviously fatigued and shouldn’t have played. But he wanted too because we have so many players out.
So continue bashing him every chance you get, but realise he’s a Panther doing his best to get us a premiership.
He was crook? If that's true and he was doing his best under the circumstances with our injuries I retract my statement.
If he was always good and having an off game I wouldn't flip flop. The off game is his normal and makes me feel like a goose if I give him credit and he goes back to plod straight away.
Yeah, Shane Elford said he was under weather all week...
Whats cool is how you hate stats and instead just make them up to defend a player every NRL fan knows is overrated aside from a few one eyed supporters on here.He was actually taken off because he had been crook all week and probably shouldn’t have played.

Missing sn easy f**king tackle had nothing at all to do with him being taken off.... Right.
The post I just made is not a reply to this.I’m not defending anyone, I said he was shit and deserved a 4.
I’m not one eyed, I just choose not to bash a player on the team I support, every chance I get.
According to Shane Elford, Tamou was crook and the interchange was pre-planned.
If your calling him a liar, fill your boots, but I don’t believe Hook is the kind of coach that would step away from his game plan because of a soft effort in defence.
This is career stats for metres gained. Tackles and missed tackles. Knowing what he is capable of and knowing what we're paying him for... why shouldn't we expect to get closer to peak form out of him rather than the form thats closer to his rookie seasons?
At his best he WAS one of the best. Right now hes not even close to that... and the past 4 seasons he has gotten worse in that area.

The club planned for him to concede s try snd get tzken off after 26 minutes
