I don't think it'll happen, but I think Cleary's game is really suited to 9

Strong defender, good runner of the ball in space, he's super fit, and his mechanical style is more suited to 9. Hooker is all about repetition.

Jimmy has form for good first seasons and average second seasons at new clubs. The number on his back hasnt changed, but he has basically been given the halfback duties for a bit this year and it did nothing for his form.

Although I'm sure average hookers haven't helped this year. Jimmy played his best footy for us at half while Peter Wallace was hooker. Wallace played a bigger part in our start to 2018 than any of us gave him credit for at the time.

I think he’s been ok also but the hookers are woeful and Cleary can run, pass and is composed enough to make good decisions at hooker and he doesn’t need to be creative. Gives us a real kicking option from 9 as well. We are desperate it’s time to try something.

I really like the idea of clears as hooker or give lui more time to perfect it. I think he could be deadly there.

Eagan is good just gone backwards for some reason. Really wish we could squish katoa and eagen together and make a hooker.

Our forwards have been dominated at times this season but its been well reported that we have had more ball inside the opp 20 then any other side, so we are getting up the field ok. I think both hookers form has been pretty poor, Wade has improved since being made the main g but he isn't performing anywhere near well enough.

No idea what we will name but I think Mansor and RCG are almost certainties to play reggies this week, Tyrell wont be there and I think Jimmy is a genuine chance of being dropped too. Cleary HAS to drop someone. No one could have there head so far up their arse that they would name the same team again.

Its a nice thought. But Cleary won't drop many players. We dont have anyone to replace them.

Only a few players in reserve grade that are eligible. Mansour and RCG are certainties this week IMO.

Its a nice thought. But Cleary won't drop many players. We dont have anyone to replace them.

This here is the key issue. There isn’t too many choices for us to bring up.

Maybe it’s time to bite the bullet and give players like Johns and Lui-Toso. If they’re in our Top 30, then why not use them?
