All I can say with Shaun Johnson back sharks are much closer to full strength than we are and the perennial loser caretaker coach Hannay only won 1 game last year against guess who!
He hasn’t won one yet this year either :wink::tired_face:

It won't be too obvious this week, rather than bin or send off Dragons players, they will disallow all the tries. Even the ones that go backwards from our players to the other and call it no try for a knock on. Wait a minute, that has been used already. What creativity will they come up with this week to disallow a try.

In contesting a bomb & scoring off it they'll take it off us (most likely Bird, he's had 3 taken off him so far)
the bunker will say the defending player had the sun in his eyes so he never received a "fair"chance.:rolleyes::oops:

After looking at the team lists, both NRL and KOE Cup, I think we will he 1-17 as per the list. Only concern is Ramsey atm. IMO Beale will be 18th man come game day.
Clune, H. Lomax and Brittain will drop back to KOE Cup. Clune replacing Foster at half back, Brittain replacing Gale (who's an edge forward and maybe just returning from injury) and Lomax replacing Pio.

In saying that, it's very pleasing to see the progression of some of our juniors. Like players still elligible for JF named in reserve grade. Doesn't mean they'll play but being named gives them the pathway and their talent recognised.
Sloan, Schiller, O'Ofou, Dowel, Nicholson and Sherab.

Sure why not? We are playing a team that hasn’t won in 5 weeks, they have a terrible backline, probably worse than ours even without Lomax, Duff, Rav.
Moylan is a better 6 than Norman because he can still run when he tries but Hunt is much better than the Chad.
Our props are as good if not better than theirs but they have the edge this week in the back row.
The benches are about as ordinary as each other so they cancel each other out.
It’s tight. We may have a better coach? Maybe?
And to top it off it’s at a neutral ground.

So yeah, we are a chance, but so are they.

Sorry to say we have absolutely no chance of beating the Sharks on Friday.We will have to wait a while for our next win.
A promising start to our season has gone pear shaped due to injury and the match review mob.

Please no Billy Burns at centre. If he plays centre we officially have the new Latimore (coaches pet).
If he is on the bench or starting back row I am fine with but at centre that is just wrong? Was Hook not watching the Melb game? I thought WIlliame is back? If not Beale will be a better option.

I thought Hook would put Norman at F/B and Amone in the halves to be honest. Is Sullivan still injured? He seems to be around the players and looks fine.

Hopefully Hook is just playing around with the line up to keep the Sharks guessing.

No try...you only have 12 players on the field....

Perhaps the Dragons could all chip in a few dollars and send the bunker a lovely gift basket - packed to the brim with
lemons .

Yes I’m predicting we win by 13.

Hook has far more of the shed than Hannah does.

We just need to curb our over enthusiastic defence and play the percentages and let them take all the risks.

Our biggest danger will be Fafitta as he can break a game open and also incite aggression from his opposition

Hopefully he goes to the bin before any of us do
