Yes I’m predicting we win by 13.

Hook has far more of the shed than Hannah does.

We just need to curb our over enthusiastic defence and play the percentages and let them take all the risks.

Our biggest danger will be Fafitta as he can break a game open and also incite aggression from his opposition

Hopefully he goes to the bin before any of us do

Going to be an ugly game for Friday night football but I’ll take the ugliest win everyday of the week

It will be ugly because of the new rules. Players will be second guessing all over. If there wasn't so much bias in the game the instant sin bins could actually even up results, as it is a bit of a lottery. Hook didn't seem to get the memo during last week as our players were overtly not able to adjust. Hope this have been addressed.

If we come with the same attitude and willingness to move the ball as we did on Sunday then we will be capable of winning.

Still expect to see sin bins and send offs this weekend. Behaviour is not that quick to adapt just because some new rules are bought in. Players have been tacking too high for 15 years; can’t see them changing in 2 weeks...
And we are slow to adopt and change...

We will be competitive for most of the game but when the whips are cracking that's when the sharks will win by up to 14.
If we had no suspensions or injuries we'd smash em
But unfortunately it isn't.

The problem with tackling lower is that it enables the attacking players to off load more often for second phase movements. Additionally, there is much more chance of the defending tackler to injure himself by tackling low and hitting his head on the thigh, hip, leg of the attacking player so could end up with lots of HIA's/concussions so good tackling techniques have got to be put into place at training.

This is the time for Hook and Co to use their coaching skills, if they actually have any, to get our guys to tackle very effectively without causing any shoulder charges, head highs and head collisions in tackles to avoid sin bins/send offs and injuries to our players.

Agree David but not if you know how to execute it correctly. Many of the head injuries are a result of really poor technique and lack of practice coming through the grades. Also there wasn’t too much second hand phase play when Randall, Gary Stevens and Bunny Reilly tackle you around the hips. The main reason for their demise in the modern game is the 10 meters plus rule. The leg tackler is on the ground not on the defensive line, that’s why they go high so the defensive line can regroup.
