If johns is in our top 30 which i think he is he deserves first crack at centre with naden.

Always be improving.

If a better team can be selected you shouldn’t just fall back on the last result. Yeo is not a natural centre, he could easily be exposed against the roosters.

He wouldn't be my pick but we won. He is likely to mark Aubusson. Our Man of the match was a 2nd rower that filled in for probably our 1st player picked each week.. So I don't see him moving

Yeah but we need to consider the Grant injury. So there has to be some team changes.

JFH to prop makes sense to me.

Also if I was the roosters I’d be shifting Mitchell to mark the lanky second rower with poor lateral movement.

Might depend if Mitchell backs up from origin I guess.

He backed up twice last year counting the Origin 2 on a Sunday, but he was rested against the tits after Origin 3.
If he does back up we have to hope he has one of his quiet games.
Cordner rarely backs up and Keary may still be out.
A good time to get them.

Great to see Jed Cartwright back today in Cup. Another who can come into contention for the centre spot

Really that might explain the jed cartwright to centre today they might be looking at cartwright naden as a centre pairing for roosters game.

I doubt it. 2 rookie centres possibly marking Latrell and Manu.

You would think Jed would need a couple of weeks in reserves to get his fitness up before being available for first grade.

But it points towards him being used in future weeks at centre in FG.

Cartwright is in our top 30, and they moved an actual centre into the second row for him to play at centre in reserves.

In a couple of weeks time yes, but surely not next week.
He has been out for a month and has never tasted first grade. Making your debut and marking Latrell could be a tough challenge. That would be my concern should he play FG next week at centre.

The only thing could expedite him playing next week if the NRL deem him a centre option, thereby no longer allowing us to play Naden.

That makes sense if they are looking at him as an option there so you might be right.
