Good idea, needs a rocket or a break or something. Fish & Leota as well, give Henry a go starting, he'll rip and tear. Put Toelau on the bench, backs injury and you slide Cole out, forward and Tago slides in. If we're struggling for ideas, give him a crack in the halves anyway. Alamoti looks better as a winger at this stage, the lateral movement is a problem and I want to see Turuva get his hands on the ball more.

I'd go:
1. Edwards 2. To'o 3. Turuva 4. Tago 5. Alamoti 6. Cole 7. Luai 8. Henry 9. Kenny 10. Smith 11. Garner 12. Sorenson 13. Yeo 14. Toelau 15. Fish 16. Leota 17. Martin

The bench we are going with has very little impact at this stage. Peach and Eiso need to go and maybe just give Riki/ Lisati a crack finally. We tried Geyer, he wasn’t much chop. Jordan Grant was being talked up in NSW Cup, maybe he gets a shot.

Martin also made 47 tackles.

Garner 39 tackles

Kenny 38 tackles.

Most running was out of the backfield.

Penrith 46% of the ball.

43% of territory.

add in the errors, penaltys and sin bins

Your not going to win footy games with possession stats like that.

If they run more they take pressure of the defence .Being our meter eaters it also puts the warriors there end where there backs have to run it out

There's a system that makes our game so difficult to counter. Line speed and dominant tackles limit metres and ruck speed, the back 3 then get the ball 30-40 out and make good kick return metres limiting the work for the pack to get back on side, our kicking game then pins them inside their 10m or we are attacking/earning 6 agains. Rinse and repeat until they break. Nothing exceptional really needs to happen.

Our line speed and dominant defence has disappeared this year. Add in below average kicking without Cleary/Schneider and now we're just another side with some really good players but a gameplan that doesn't work.

I don't think any changes to the backline/halves are going to help a stack because the root of the problem is we are losing the ruck, or at least not winning it decisively which we need to do.

The pack is the main issue. Improve that and we dominate again
