I think we have more issues withAmone,s & Sloans defense.I really really don’t want to be negative believe me but Suli and his poor ball security is a problem needing attention.
I have high hopes for Sloan but he is a weak defender. He needs to do a great deal with this part of his game. If Ryles is the new coach - he will get him working on this for sure. The trainer needs to get his upper body and arm strength much better.I think we have more issues withAmone,s & Sloans defense.
Should have been sent offRadley charged by the MRC 3-4 weeks suspension. Should have been at the very least 10 in the bin.
NRL Judiciary Report: No charge for Munster following GF
The match review committee has announced on Monday morning that there were no charges arising from the 2024 NRL grand final.www.nrl.com
Should have been sent off
Zac tapping the ball back was brilliant.Just an important thing to remember, if Griffin was still our HC last night, Hunts final kick bomb would have been contested by Suli.
Just think about that for a second.
Both physical and mental fitness I reckon.I think it fitness. Need a real fitness bloke next year.
Amone defending at centre? That really won't end well possWorth a try:
1. Lomax
4. Amone
5. Sloan
6. Sullivan
Our trouble would be;
1. The defensive performance of Sloan, Amone, and Sullivan.
2. The ability for Sloan to take the ball up from inside our 20.
Meanwhile your old mate Aitken bombs two tries in two minutes….Could have flopped it out and knocked that over, but fair play
Didnt but well spotted. Some amateurish stuff, Liddle and others still just a silhouette image on dragons website, below par quality for most small businesses these days.Anyone else notice at the press conference last night we had the Roosters sponsorship advertised and not ours, I'm not looking negatives after a great win but it pisses me off we can't even get the most basic of fundamentals right.
Go back two games ago, nothing wrong with Amones defense that day. May have been the Cowboys game. There has been a decided improvement with this aspect of his game.Amone defending at centre? That really won't end well poss
You are not allowed to tackle too hard."How sweet it is" as Jackie Gleeson used to say.
This is the game that will define what we can achieve by playing for the full 80 minutes and as a team. Yes, the fitness could be improved and I hope that our fitness trainer can get our guys to build up on their upper body and arm strength. It will help to defend stronger. I am sure that that is what the trainers at the Panthers have been able to do to their players - noticed how they can stop an attacker full stop by holding firm with their upper body and arms. We tend to grab and wrestle but the attacker still moves up the field by 3-4 metres before he finally is held to play the ball.
I know that the win won't make our winter, but this particular game had it all in a way and given that in the previous 6 games lady luck wasn't with us, she was in the last 30 seconds for us and those moments I will remember for a long time. The feeling was mesmerising and that feeling of letting out the loud cheer released all of the pent up emotions that were inside me. Such a relief and utter joy.
We WILL be a much improved team next year I have no doubt.
Just as an aside, the article in the Foxsports News below has not been edited by the editor. The reporter said that Lomax wrestled with Tedesco to steal the ball and dropped him but it was Cory Allan. Anyway, Allan's head didn't hit the ground as far as I could tell, it was his back.

But no I didn't noticed because it was great to hear new coach excited about a win.
