Exactly cause the guy's track record speaks for itself

Criticise all you like but the fact is they wouldnt be any worse than the sides chosen over the last 6 years.
How much pain can Tinkler endure?
Agreed, Edwards, Taia & Sau (and Wes) :arrow:Gagai, Sims, Tetevano come on down
didn't even play today?Agreed, Edwards, Taia & Sau (and Wes)
This time last year we were all praising Wes and hoping he'd be resigned, what a difference 12 months makes.
You could be referring to me there Rolla. Not sure.
It was in reference to Origin and the fact he is like Galloway. Slow.
With the minutes Snowden plays he should rack up 100 metres weekly. 6 carries a half should do it. He'd want to be carrying the ball at least 6 times a half!
Fair enough he isn't lightning. But still averages 8m per run, which is inline with all the top props in the NRL (i think tamou a bit higher but he has a few line breaks in him). I'm not pushing his case for origin but i think he has been very good for us. I would hate to see where we would be without him this year.
Oooo completely forgot about that!So this week against the Raiders we won't have Boyd or Uate. So Gagai to fullback, Mata'utia onto the wing?
Sides like Brisbane and Melbourne can have their off days or their run of losses or their individual brain-fades and bad games but they have enough belief in themselves and belief in that if they stick to what they need to do regardless of where they are at that they will come out on top. They ride out the bumpy roads.Hunter Ports Newcastle Knights captain Danny Buderus believes his side are moving in the right direction, despite losing to the Broncos 50-24 on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking after the game, Buderus said there were some positives to come from the match, but the Knights have a fair way to go as they develop into a top side.
“We’ve done a lot of things as a group to try and get everything back on track,” Buderus said.
“We’ve done a few things as a senior group to get the confidence back in the younger guys, a bit of belief in where they’re going.
“If it didn’t blow out in the last 15 minutes we could’ve taken a lot of positives out of the game, and we still will. We’ll take a few things out - to come back into a position to try and win, it was there for us.
“That’s where we’re at as a team - we’re close but we’re a fair way away as well. Like Wayne keeps saying - if we keep driving the bus, keep turning up, we’ll get our momentum. When we do, we’ll jump on it and have a bit of a run.”

Oooo completely forgot about that!
Kev Naiqama fullback?
Dane def on the wings.
