And you lot scoffed at me earlier in the season when I predicted it would all unravel big time! And so it has, but I take little comfort from fair weather supporters tearing each other to pieces.

Hi Coby and my best wishes to the lovely Frederick.

The players have absolutely run the club since Reilly left and Johns and co run amok. Wok couldn't direct them, Hagan didn't really try, Smith couldn't, Stone couldn't, now Bennett is struggling to direct them. It needs to change, and Bennett is the guy to do it. The tough decisions need to be made, but more importantly the supporters of the club need to back the decision makers and not the players not having a dig right now.

Even though Pete gifted them the game early on, you would hope that your defense would have worked to help make up for it.

Fail. A massive problem that seems to be getting worse.

Perverse, Even you and me would have won premierships with the Broncos when they had QLD stitched up for most of the 20 years he was coach with all the good players in the state being aligned to them and they had 11 out of the 13 state of origin and test players in their roster.
i thought that argument was put to bed when he did it with the Dragons. it's not that i disagree with you about the players, but you could never say how many of those players would have been as good without Wayne as their coach, either. yes, he had a good thing up in Brisbane, but he was also a big part of building the club into what it was. building the ethos of the jersey. Brisbane have way more going on up there than just having the best players. they also produce the best players, and consistently get the best out of them.

Exactly right. If the players dont want to conform they can f**k off.. It worked when we had Joey, but that is because he was a once in a century player.

Hi Coby and my best wishes to the lovely Frederick.

You predicted Tinkler and Bennett would have a fall out.

we definitely missed Boyd. it didn't help that Pete had a pretty unfortunate night, too... but i think the most we could have hoped for from Pete was safe, with a couple of nice touches. Darius is actually hitting some form and looking dangerous.

That's being kind to Pete mate, he was nothing short of terrible tonight and has pretty much consigned his career to the scrap heap

IMO he won't see another FG game again

Thats a NICE way to put it silent - but realistically 80 out of that 89 should be here putting absolute SHIT on the team we support

Correct I did.

But that assumption was based upon my assessment on how your team would perform under Wayne. Now you are surely not suggesting that Tinkler is in seventh heaven with distinct possibility of you guys taking out the spoon with Wayne at the helm? Or maybe you are?

Do you do anything but point out the obvious mate?

Bugger off back to the Dragons forum where you belong. We have enough shit stirrers within our own ranks

so basically this is how i felt about it:

1. Pete - unfortunate night. made some clangers, then got hurt. he's better than that.. but won't be keeping his spot by any stretch.
2. McManus - that drop ball for their whatevereth try just stands out in my mind above all else. usually safe. wasn't. seems to be getting worse like everyone else.
3. Gagai - has real talent. a promising start at his new club, i thought. needed far more ball than he received.
4. Tahu - thought he was ok, but thought we went his side too often.
5. Kev - pretty bad. 2 errors including the bomb he let bounce. got himself in an awkward position to try and contest that one.
6. Mullen - pretty dreadful. didn't get his hands on the ball when we needed him to. a couple of good kicks, but that's about it. my main criticism would be that he was involved at all the wrong times, and missing at all the right times.
7. Roberts - doesn't really have much going for him at all. he is having a crack though.
8. Snowden - his worst game of the year for us.
9. Buderus - tried his heart out. was hitting hard in tackles, but getting few followers.
10. Willie - was excellent until the game was well and truly over and made a couple of mistakes.
11. House - is getting worse and worse. penalties, lack of impact in attack. don't think he will ever score a try off a short ball from Mullo.
12. Edwards - is pretty much useless.
13. Costigan - put him in the Edwards basket. sick of the sight of him.

14. Adams - wasn't very good. no-where near our worst, but says more about our performance than his.
15. Zeb - one of our best. actually carried the ball well. defended well. ballplayed well. we need that Zeb for the rest of the year.
16. Cuthbo - actually wasn't bad. his offloads were quite effective. that's the value he can bring to a team when he's not f**king everything up.
17. McKinnon - error with his first touch i think? didn't have many more. sigh.
