In the post match press conference, BA blamed himself for the 2 losses when the fines etc were handed down, said he changed training and we paid for that

Again said , we'll be right, when questioned about points deduction . Good leader

Great win last night. But the most troubling aspect was our lack of forward punch against a very ordinary side.

Only one forward again last night managed more then 100m. Very concerning moving forward and in particular for next season.

Peni again is our sole consistently hard running forward and he rarely if ever gets over the 100m mark due to lack of game time for him. But obviously is due to his fitness and therefore effectiveness over a longer period of time.

So other then Mannah when he comes back, we need to find at least one other forward from somewhere that can give us that consistent go forward. Otherwise against the better teams we will be blown away due to lack of field position and space for our attack.

Without a big bopper like junior, we will struggle with go forward when we really need it. We need to work out a mechanism to spin it out wide like how Semi got us out of the danger zone

Ba has said b4 he will only pay so much for a winger. That is the dilemma. If he will pay what he is worth, everyone will like to keep him where he is but in saying that, at say fb, his involvement woukd be greater.

When his contract is up, manly or someone might say, semi the number 1 is yours with 700k tomreplace Stewart

We will say, here is 400k as thta is the most we will pay for a winger.

Why are the Panthers letting mans source go?

Does it f**king matter if we lose him? There are clubs doing a lot better than us without Semi f**king Radradra. Look at Melbourne's outside backs. Why do you deadshits put individual players above the club?

Do other clubs have Craig Bellamy?

And what if he becomes Jarryd Hayne at 1?we won't know if we don't try

You are just typically stingy only looking short-sighted at bargain playera

But not willing to see if a talent can be developed into something better

Would really hate to work for you poo. Typical only looking after no. 1. If you managed a team, you would have noone wanting to work for you except the desperate. Would also hate to be beside u in the trenches during war

It's less about Bellamy and more about their pack and spine players.

You and I won't know but the coaching staff already do. Fullback is about more than just taking bombs and returning kicks. There is a massive amount of critical decisions to be made in both attack and defence.

I think you definitely need a couple of marquee players but they need to provide leadership as well as playing ability.

That's only because I'd root you during a lull in the battle.

Foran hasn't stopped us having a strong squad.

Neither did Hayne. Hayne was even on less than what Foran is now. I do however concede that the way we play is different with less reliance on the fullback to pull a rabbit out of his hat. In addition we got rid of players like Seph Paulo, Darcy Lussick and Chris Sandow and replaced them with tougher players like Scott and proven performers like Gordon. However the continued improvement of Norman and our attitude to defence has been the point of difference as well as the maturity of Edwards and Mau into top line first graders.

We'll never know that. But the available evidence says he did.

Hayne was even on less than what Foran is now.

Even if true, Hayne was last here when the cap was half a million dollars less than it is now (with the minimum salary unchanged). Elite player values are just higher now.

Agreed.

Meterage: we were +400 over the Rabbitohs.
Nrlstats is often inaccurate at first glance and later corrected.

The trend is we won the go forward. Why whinge about it?
