Have a look at the halves they were playing outside. Gutherson didn't have to play outside himself.

Well for half of Guth's games at the back he played outside a centre/second rower in Taka.

French played the majority of games outside of Guth, who BA clearly thinks is a better option in the halves than Taka. Do you think otherwise?

I'm pretty keen to see whom, actually. It would all depend on why he went with Gutherson yesterday.

Takairangi's a better playmaker. He just has no long kicking game - it's even worse than Gutherson's.
