Round 15 vs Roosters

He f**ked up nonstop for 80 minutes and you defend him. Takeout Maloneys f**kups and he is literally the definition of invisible.
Honestly, what is the point of this? Are you trying to provide entertainment for supporters of other teams or what? We got beat. It happens. We are all disappointed. We play again in two weeks time and things will be different. Now put the razor blades away for goodness sake.

32% possession, no wonder we got a hiding. Penalties 9-3, 63% completion rate. Couldn't buy a penalty even when our blokes are hit fair in the head. The Roosters with all that possession were very good, you wonder if they can have things go their way like that again though.
They are some of the worst stats I have ever seen, 32% is crazy.
No team can win like that, our success all year has come from a high completion rate and solid defence.
I doubt we can play that bad again but the concern is we were bad last week and face a tough few weeks of rep rounds.

Not put in?

We repeatably turned them away from our line despite having 30% of the ball, a ton of injuries & 12 men for 10 mins. We had every right to lose by 50+ given how well the Roosters played & how little ball we had, every bounce of the ball went against us... Not trying (or putting in) & not executing are two very different things.

We have a huge injury list and we’re up against a team that played very well. We were a little off & rightly got punished. There were still plenty of things in that game to show we’ll still be a threat even if we get half our players back.

On a positive note, Tamou & Whare both had very good games.

Call it whatever you want. It was a terrible game.

Yes Tamou and Whare gave 110%

Just one of those games where everything that could've went wrong, went wrong, starting with the announcement of Benjamin Cockface as ref.
And the good fortune that Easts had. We were limited to a point that lady luck completely deserted us. One of those game were everything went to shit.

Mate you should know by now that BMX is always good for a rant or 1000, best to just ignore him when we lose.

I think those defending a -10/10 performance are providing the entertainment

Who's getting razor blades out? Im referring to a single f**king performance. I havent once said it writes of our season or kills our chanced. Im calling out a gutless performance.

Just as I would praise a terrific one. But no. Apparenyly getting dmashed is the refs fault. And the player who f**ked up a dozen times bears no responsibility

If there were minus Dally M points Maloney would get -3. He was woeful in everything. Shit kicks, knock ons, poor cover, silly penalties. Whilst he was crap Cleary was just a passenger till the game was just about gone. He did start off the chain of events that lead to the Phillips BOMBED try that could have changed the game but we needed that earlier.

Anyone who thinks he is currently worth $1M need their heads read. At the moment he is leaning on Maloney hoping that he would mask his deficiencies and when Maloney falls short he is failing to really stand up and take control.

To be honest though everything went wrong. All our players contributed typical bonehead Panthers brain explosions from Cricton's pass to Yeo (knock on) the biggest bombed try of the year (Phillips) Hetherington/Merrin/Maloney key knock ons at half way...wingers getting caught off their wings....Peachey with some ordinary defence and getting himself sin binned. There were more that I just can't remember at the moment.

And you could just tell after 5 minutes that Roosters came ready to rumble...and we were just going through the motions. We need to learn not to get ahead of ourselves and not take anything for granted.

What’s the reality then MX? That we lost? I think we all know that tbh, no ones saying it was a good performance.

Actually. Shit went wrong starting with James Maloney throwing an intercept.

We lost that game under any referee in the competition. We were outplayed from kick off.

I still thought Crichton was decent. I think he’ll end up being a good quality winger.

Phillips got monstered all night though.
Yeah don't get me wrong i think he will be good too, but it's his first year and i thought we really got shown up on the wings tonight.

I daresay you will know who Hethrington is before you curl up in the fetal position on friday night.
Your bench with SST & Radley isnt terrible, but your starting pack? Give me strength. I like Aubo & think he is pretty under rated by most, but apart from those tough 3 metre carries from Plodner he is pretty much on his own. When did JWH come back? I thought he must have retired a few years ago? He wast a bad player in 2012, maybe he still has it him.
Tell me more about JWH :D

The reality is we were shit and Maloney was our worst. Yet people want to shift the blame away from our team.

We're incapable of losing without it being the referees fault

Just finished watching the game. Here are my thoughts (apologies if others have already said this):

1. Starting with a positive - Dean Whare was enormous in defence and looked threatening in attack. Our best IMO with Merrin also getting through extra work.
2. To the bad stuff. Cleary needed to take the line on A LOT more. We looked much less predictable when he did. Both Maloney and Cleary took ages to get into that game and offered very little.
3. Obviously, we got smashed up front but the Roosters' outside backs also got massive metres too. Roosters almost doubled us in running metres. Thank god that Kikau, Leota, Blake etc. will be back after the rep round.
4. 60 missed tackles... we really failed to shut down them down all game.
5. 69% completion rate - we really didn't get the fundamentals right.
6. We really needed that - got a whole week to learn from that because we did not look likely at all. Thank god we have Manly (not an easy game if we play like that) because we can't afford to have a form slump now.

Mate as i said to the frog just ignore BMX when we lose, there's no point, brick wall.
As i said. Bury your head in the sand.

We play like shit and no one wsnts to acknowledge it. Lets just blame the referees. We xan praise the team. But not call them out when they suck.

First good game he's had in a very long time. If he's capable I'd be asking where is the consistency.

We weren't in it mentally tonight and that's what riles me up the most. A loss when they show up and play well isn't so bad.
