Round 19 Vs Raiders

Why is RCG copping it? I thought he had a decent crack today. Outside of being stripped under these ridiculous new rules where teams can put 3 or 4 in a tackle and drop off to strip it... where its really debateable if players have even dropped off when the strip occurs.

Our centres offered nothing. Winterstein offered nothing and a bench with only 2 forwards on it was terrible.

Our hooking options also look terrible against good teams. Our left edge was destroyed so easily. Nothing on and Raiders somehow strolled through many times. A full left edge was arguably weaker than our right edge when Whare was binned.

That said we won 7 in a row. We couldn't keep it up forever. Raiders were easily the best side we faced in months. We lose no positions on the ladder. If we react the right way next week we can keep our top 8 chances high for the run home. How we respond next week is more important. A loss kills everything we did to get back imo.
Why is Winterstein even in the side........offers nothing but Cleary keeps picking him.

Really disappointed in Naden. He'd put in 200% in every game and it was so refreshing. He alternated between invisible and disinterested today. Had a direct hand in two of the Raiders tries. If it turns out he played sick or injured then so be it, otherwise he needs to turn it around or his window into a NRL career will slam shut as quickly as it opened.

RCG is simply a shadow of himself since his broken jaw x2.

Anyway I don't know why the refs are copping a hammering. They were inept but they're always inept. Sometimes their ineptitude went against us (several forward passes), sometimes it went for us (Clearys "1 on 1" strip).

We weren't good enough. The Raiders are one of the competition benchmarks and we're a ways off them. Defense on our own line in particular was a step back from the last few months.

Having such a weird bench was exposed today, with Luai seeming to disrupt the rhythm of the team when he came on. Give him the rest of the season running the CC side, coming on as a third half is doing nothing for us or his ongoing development.

Statistically he was ahead of Tamou in nearly every stat. Tamou got a try which RCG didn't. But Tamou looked to be having a real crack for mine.

Seems he's now being hated on just for the sake of it.

Lol RCG Over rates plodder
Disappointed in your effort today Rhino,
Looked for your comment that the Raiders were going to end our 8 game winning streak and thereby guaranteeing our streak to continue.
No surprise that your silence resulted in us coming back to the pack.

RCG had a better game today, definitely wasn’t bad or anything. Pretty solid all round.

He just seems to play way too many minutes imo. Seems to be getting more time than Tamou & I cant see how that benefits the side in anyway, unless RCG is playing exceptionally which he isn’t.

I also think Leota is underused in expense for RCG playing big minutes.

Not by me at least. I want the RCG that made the NSW team. Drop him for more than a week and get him a psychologist to get the fire back or something but he isn't what he was.

Sadly I got what I expected. We are an ordinary team and a real team exposed it
