Im glad he’s got more recognition than if he’d gone over himself.

The other thing is that shows you a team that cares about each other and that’s a good place to be entering a vicious finals series.

You guys must be happy that the moment for Bennett occurred under your watch.

He’s come long way since Brisbane voted you out of the comp. Remember that only the dogs refused to nuke you. They refused to vote for and against.
Except in the end they and the Bullfrog did end up crossing over and that was the tipping point.

But your sentiments are appreciated, you actually made sense for the first time on THIS board lol

P.S. tell your mates on your side Douehi is actually a very good player, he may be one of your best at the moment, and Madge is doing the best to fix things. You need a clean out, starting with Justin Pascoe

I was also going to add that the roosters have done a good job (up until last night) given their horrific injury toll.

They had no idea of what him for most of the game.

lol@the commentators switching their predictions with the way the wind was blowing.

The match was a service to the game in many areas not just the result. Badly needed with all these experts talking rubbish!

Before I go, does anybody not want to play footy with Cory Allen?

Did Bennett not say that was one of the best wins he’s ever had in 1000 year career? Lol

This is a fan-hood career moment for you blokes. The enemy is impaled and is only just twitching!

Party!
Thanks Man, appreciated.
The problem with Corey Allan is that he is a true fullback, too slow and small to be a specialist winger, defence and speed not enough to be a specialist centre.
And there is Latrell in front of him, who was just starting to show how good he can be at fullback before he got injured.
I'm happy for Corey's game last night. I was thinking he might actually make a good 5/8 with his passing and ball handling. He needs to develop a kicking game and evasiveness.

I was trying to get a 3, 2, 1 together.

I don’t mean to be controversial etc, but Cam Murray had some kind of night out.

And Allen was everywhere.

And for mine, Reynolds is just the foundation and I don’t know if gets enough recognition, because Cody is the glamour. Hopefully Cody gets another shot at origin, he’s got genuine claims, his hands and passing game is simply breathtaking at the moment. After the last night, the spot is his to lose.

I hope A J Brimson is in the origin squad somewhere too. Extraordinary game.

Special Mention to Corey Allan, has had his share of critics ., best game ever showed he is a fullback. Well done.

That would be me, a critic of Allan's lack of pace.
Fair to say Allan had an outstanding game, especially as a support player were he showed an immense ability to continue the teams attacking progress which resulted in a number of trys, one of which he scored himself from an excellent Walker pass and of course, the pass back to Johnston which handed the 'most trys for the year' to Johnston. Had great support play, backed up all night.
Not entirely sure that Allan is fast enough as a modern fullback but he did have a fantastic game, I wish him well and look forward with hope to next week and the week after.

Couldn't say that after the performance against the bull dogs.

Thought Johnston had an outstanding game in which he put his body on the line a few times in scoring some trys. Also thought Gagai had a great game that may have gone unnoticed as, I'm sure, could be said of some of the other team members.

Murray got my 2 pts after Cody.
Don't worry Reyno gets plenty of recognition here, we all know what he means to us, what he's done for us over his career, and he is gonna be an all time legend, quite possibly the best halfback ever to wear red and green.

Cody won't get another shot as long as Fittler picks the team.
The only way Cody plays again is if Keary AND Wighton are both broken injured, they are gonna be picked, (along with The Chin) most of the "media" been saying this all year. All except Greg Alexander - he loves Cody's game.

And you know, Keary is gonna be made out to be the star in NSW, because they gonna whack QLD, who might well have their weakest team in the history of SOO

Brimson has been massive.

You are probably right on each account but In my opinion Cody is a much more natural talent than Wighton. That perfect cut out pass under pressure, I just became a believer after that, it wasn’t just a cut out, it was pretty much no look, it was fast, furious and mm perfect. It was as good a cut out ever thrown.

If Fittler can’t appreciate that, I’m not sure he’s right in the head or as objective as he needs to be.

There was another try to AJ earlier on I thought was a type of gift as well. I forget who threw the ball.

Keary was blunted last night. He just wasn’t in the game. I guess he’s entitled to the odd sleeper. Crichton couldn’t deliver either. Hes had a lot of ups and downs at the roosters. He was talking about it last year. SBW just looked big and foolish.

The roosters depth has been good this year, but it’s been sliding away, they were beyond ordinary last night and you went in for the kill. I think Bennet liked that too. 40 points in front and no one clocked off.
It was impressive.

I don’t think you will get the gift of a big win again this year, but that you made the most of it, helps.

All our problems came when we flogged the Broncos, but on the radio today cg said the celebrations finished last night and everyone was meant to wake up with a clear head for the challenges ahead. Graham reminds me of thinner and younger Feldt. 6ft 5 or something.

QLDs weakest team ever was 1995. When no super league players could play. They won 3-0. Never write off a wounded QLD side.

On another note Friday was the best day of my life. My daughter was born Friday morning and Souths thumped roosters Friday night. It’s what dreams are made of.

Just want to properly congradulate Reyno and AJ for top point scorer and top try scorer respectively. Such a huge achievement and it's the first time either of these guys have picked up the accolade. Well done lads!!!

good call. Loved seeing the boys help AJ get to the top.

Was standing on my seat a lot that last 20! I actually injured my lower left shin a bit from jumping up and down too much feel like the bone is bruised or something...... oh well it was worth it!

I have already watched it back 3 times as well and legit I had KFC for dinner tonight watching it back and it was the best KFC I’ve ever tasted tbh mate.

I was also looking for Fittler on the sideline at the game, funny that he was barely seen lol....

Knight redeemed himself in a massive way.

Our bench was magnificent.

WE WANTED IT MORE WE WANTED THAT SO BADLY AND WE DID IT!!!

Before the game Knight was so nervous just before kick off, he really had to step up and he did!

Nicholls outplayed SBW onya Marky! He’s in career best form and was robbed by Klein of a blatant try.

Round 20 Gallery - Rabbitohs vs Roosters: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/2020/09/28/gallery-rd-20-vs-roosters/

From Channel Nine,

JUST REWARD FOR AN NRL NICE GUY

He's long been regarded among the best goal-kickers of the modern era, but Adam Reynolds has never topped the NRL point-scoring list.

He looked set to miss out again this season, entering the final round 13 points behind the Roosters' Kyle Flanagan.

But the Rabbitohs' amazing 60-8 win over their arch rivals last Friday night saw Reynolds storm home with 20 points to overtake Flanagan, who didn't trouble the scorers.

For Reynolds, one of the game's nice guys, finishing in top spot on 191 points was a fitting reward for the many hours of goal-kicking practice before and after training.

Reynolds became the first Rabbitoh to finish top point-scorer since another cheeky halfback, Chrs Sandow, back in 2011.
