Gee how insightful. You really do know your footy Pou.Our best middle forward is Nathan Brown. That's why he plays the longest minutes.

Just watched the ch9 replay. Norman f-bombed in the post game game interview with Freddy.
Watch the nrl suspend him till 2019.
By the time Mannah retires we have everyone except Kane Evans off contract. There will be plenty of signings and re-signings before then.Twal would be a perfect replacement for a clapped out Timmy Mannah.
He plays a role which lets others play theirs. He looks absolutely finished as a player, Pou can talk him up all he likes but he has fallen so badly off the cliff it's not funny anymore it's just sad.
You think one game is illustrative of a player's entire season?Who bludged here?
Vave 9 runs 22 tackles in 32 min,
Matagi 11 runs 20 tackles in 40min,
Alvaro 9 runs 30 tackles in 38min
Mannah 6 runs 17 tackles in 30min
So stats are fine if they only suit your argument????You think one game is illustrative of a player's entire season?

If Mannah is still playing in 2 years he will be getting wheeled out for the toss.By the time Mannah retires we have everyone except Kane Evans off contract. There will be plenty of signings and re-signings before then.

Time for the club to make a tough decision and tap him on the shoulder at seasons end.
We didn't play them though. There was a few rounds in between those wins that weren't byes though.
he's entitled to do just that i could hardly blame him.....and if he just replies 'No thanks. I'll see out the agreement that you guys offered me and I accepted'.
If he didn't play them others would have to play longer. Why do you think he's started every game he's played since mid 2012?Yes those 30mins he is playing is sooooo essential, there is just no way we can cover what he brings
That happens about 5 or 6 times a game to the poor bastard. He is just not up to it anymore.I don't know if it has been discussed before in this thread, in the set just before Mannah went off, we were defending in our half. Mannah made or was a part of a tackle, as he was running back to the defence line he fell over with nobody around him and then sort of stumbled around for the rest of the set. The trainer ran out to check on him. Did anyone else see it?
He's started every game since 2012 for one of the worst packs in the comp. Keep talking him up, keep making excuses keep twisting stats. At least he was always at least a first grader. But now he just looks like some drunken hobo out there stumbling around lost.If he didn't play them others would have to play longer. Why do you think he's started every game he's played since mid 2012?

It just shows what a poor decision it was to extend him when we did, but he is a liability out there these days. He looks like a lunch drunk fighter out in the ring, his second stint he looked drunk out there shuffling around trying to get back on side.
I thought he was pretty average last season in a season where he struggled with injury.Realistically no one thought he'd fall off the cliff this badly. He was still an integral part of the pack when he re-signed. The poor bloke is clearly struggling with something fitness wise.
Stats are fine when they are meaningful. One game doesn't mean much compared to an entire season or a career. I understand you think he's on the decline but given his age I doubt it. He's just playing fewer minutes. Peter Gentle pointed out in the pre-match that Alvaro (for example) is playing longer minutes now he's coming off the bench. So stats are fine if they only suit your argument????
