The more important question is what's happened to Norman's form? He's been almost diabolical.

Anyone think BA has stopped Norman eating out, and it's reflecting his form??? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

120 odd meters, 2 line breaks, an LBA , a try assist and kicked the winning field goal.

I read about 3 articles from Mannah talking up finals footy.
I read articles where journos asked him about finals footy and he said it's still a long way to go.
I love it when that dribbler talks, because the opposite always happens.

Another quality 30mins from him today. We are so lucky to have him for two more years.
If you don't rate him why do you want more minutes from him?

He steadied the ship when he came back on. You'll find he plays more minutes when we have a lead because he is a defensive specialist. Likewise Moeroa. When we were chasing a lead we generally had Matagi on the field, plus Alvaro to cover for him because they're a team and Alvaro's a f**king animal - 30 tackles in 38 minutes. Matagi only made 22 tackles in 43.

Mannah's workrate was down this week, because we had a fair bit of possession in his second stint. But for the season it's better than anyone except Alvaro.

Thought Twai looked more than Handy today, Gus gave him a wrap. It looks a poor decision in hindsight letting him go considering how long in the tooth Mannah looks and while Alvaro is willing he is nothing more than a back up.

Vave is probably our best prop forward and he looks unfit and has only ever been a benchy.

Twal has surprised just about everyone tbh....I've made no secret that I rate him a lot higher than some other blokes on here but he's even surprised me.

He will need to bulk up though or he will be essentially a grizzled Daniel Alvaro. Which is no criticism, but also not what we need anyway

6 runs and 17 tackles. Great contribution!

Mau had 7 missed tackles today!!!
We won didn't we? In fact we've won four straight with Mannah starting in the middle. You need to accept that his workrate allows others to bludge. Against the Dogs he made 27 tackles in 35 minutes.

Would you rather he made more runs? Who would you take them off?

Twal would be a perfect replacement for a clapped out Timmy Mannah.

He looks absolutely finished as a player, Pou can talk him up all he likes but he has fallen so badly off the cliff it's not funny anymore it's just sad.

Who bludged here?
Vave 9 runs 22 tackles in 32 min,
Matagi 11 runs 20 tackles in 40min,
Alvaro 9 runs 30 tackles in 38min
Mannah 6 runs 17 tackles in 30min

Probably. But I can also understand why we let him go. Even if I don't necessarily agree.

More mins??? lol Mate i wont be happy till he is playing zero mins. He's finished as a first grader and for some reason he is here for two more seasons. Dribble all the stats you like, twist words and find a way where his contributions are meaningful but he looks punch drunk out there.

His second sant was comical i don't think he missed any tackles he just struggled to keep up to lay a hand on anyone.

Being allowed to overspend for half a decade and so develop an Origin standard leadership and playmaking group and winning culture. They made four straight grand finals FFS. You can't buy that kind of experience. After that, losing a few players is a trivial hurdle to overcome.
Very good.

Vave 9 runs 22 tackles in 32 min,
Matagi 11 runs 20 tackles in 40min,
Alvaro 9 runs 30 tackles in 38min
Mannah 6 runs 17 tackles in 30min
Looking at those stats Mannah was the one who bludged.

But but but that can't be right because stats are the be all and end all of RL.

Mannah is essential because when we lose Fritchard, De Gois and Scott we'll be very short on experience in the middle.

No I was looking at Arthur's record right before I read your post. We did win four in a row but it was split over 2016-2017. Rounds 25 and 26 then rounds 1 and 2 this year were wins.

There was a few rounds in between those wins that weren't byes though.

30k crowd, with probably 20k blue and gold

The ground announcer did his best to try and make the Tigpies sound louder, then they ran what they said was a decibel meter. Even though the cheer for Parra was considerably louder, they had a comparison chart that kept showing the tigers over 100 decibels , with the Eels cheer at 80.

Was so funny, even the Tigers fans laughed , it was so obvious. Having as that, there game day entertainment was pretty decent . But getting out of the joke they call a car park was awful , took over 50 minutes to even get to the down ramp. Not sure what they can do, but it's worse than the one they had at the old Entertainment Centre and that's saying something

Vave and Edwards really stood up today, Woods ambles to the line and turns his shoulders to look for an offload, really a poor effort to control the offloads again, that's a real failing when you have a pack that's not tall.

Our best middle forward is Nathan Brown. That's why he plays the longest minutes.
