I couldn’t tell for certain from where I was sitting, but it looked to me that Whare had scored a try in the first half off a bat-back from DWZ, that Cecchin called as a knock on without going to the video, but then on the video seemed clearly to have gone back. I haven’t seen a replay yet, but was I wrong about that?

Merrin was absoutey furious when he was interchanged with 20 minutes to go. He came to the side line but didn’t walk off and was having a heated exchange with the staff. When he finally came off he was so furious he walked off up the side of the field for about 30 metres before eventually coming back and sitting on the bench. Read into that what you will.[/QUOTE]

Haven't seen a replay yet but I would be curious to know what fans think about the decision on the DWZ incident. Was the ruling he was over the sideline, forward pass, knock on into a Raider? Watching the replay at the ground it appeared play on, no forward pass and perhaps a try?

As for Merrin being interchanged he blew up big time. In addition to the heated exchange with the staff on the bench he appeared to gesture at one stage in the direction of the coaches box. It wasn't pretty. If there is any truth to the rumours about issues in the playing group with the coach then on the evidence I saw today there is clearly issues with Merrin and Griffin.

Life is too short to be salty Umina.

Let’s worry about Cronk & Co when we actually play Cronk & co.
It's not salt and you know that. As dodgy as Peach is at 1 i can see the upside of no Crichton in the side but that is much better fixed by CHN, Yeo or Peach at centre and Whare on the wing

Was called a foward pass...was 5m more backwards than the one Maloney threw to win it. So it evened out there

after all the disturbance we have had in our backline, why would u want more positional changes just after we are getting some combinations going. our backline is fine, its the best it can be. peach is doing great at fullback.

Croker out for the season a couple of games back. It was Rapana, and it was accidental but possibly careless.

Yes I have now seen the replay, and it was Rapana. Doesn’t surprise me, that guy is an absolute shit bag.

Sorry I meant Hodgson, not Croker.

He’s literally dropped 1 bomb in 2 games. That’s the extent of his dodginess so far.

100%. You and I were watching the same thing. He was not a happy man.

And hes has almost zero pressure. Good teams won't give him the free ride

What are you talking about? Peach was put under a ton of pressure by Manly and made a clutch catch of a bomb in one of the final sets of the game to ensure we won.

DWZ is also good for a few errors. But he is a very different style of full back. DWZ is good for eating meters on kick returns and not much else. He doesn’t offer anything like what Peach offers us in attack. DWZ was trying the same sweeping back line moves that Peach has been doing and finding himself running out of space and getting caught on the edge of the field.

He's dropping bomb because he's never been a winger or fullback. Its silly

Mate, it wasn't even a bomb. It was a shit kick and Peachy dropped it. They scored of the back of that mistake.

Taking that mistake out of the equation Peachy doesn't play in the role he plays today we don't win it is that simple.

You put your chin out there and therefore I understand you have no option but to justify your position but as you most often are, you are wrong. Peachy's 2 tries basically won us the game and more than made up for that one error.

The alcoholic beverages are starting to take effect but watching the game at the ground I thought there was a huge forward pass in the lead up to one of the Raiders tries so in a round about sort of way the decisions seemed to even themselves out in the end.

What is strange and has worked a little in attack is Peach at fullback. Seeing as he is a god awful 6 and bad at passing when at centre.

He definitely wasn't out, it was very similar to the one against the Roosters in the 2014 finals. I thought they had ruled it forward but I'll have to have another look.

I thought there was a huge forward pass in the lead up to one of the Raiders tries

This is what Gasnier said in the call. The Fox comms called a forward pass in the lead up to the final Raiders try, that might have been the one.

Are you agreeing with me or agreeing to disagree.

Mate, I agree with you the Peachy experiment will only work for so long but today was a good day.

Peachy is just a terrific footy player, can play anywhere basically.

He has sustained a lot of criticism on here for apparently being shit in defence in the centres, which I don't agree with, but at the end of the day as we have seen you just have to find a position for him somewhere in our side so he can play 80 minutes. He is that good and we are going to miss him big time.
