I couldnt care less about the stats. If youve watched any nsw cup earlier this year youd have seen where his best position is atm. He literally was a unstoppable there.

He came on after 30mins when all kiks and marto did was defend set after set after set. Than we literally had all the possesion whilst he was on. He was good sure. Very impressed. But playing him wider can really utilize his strengths amd means hed get 80mins.

Not sure why youd only want him on the park 30/40 or so mins filling in for kiks or marto

I watched all the televised cup games this year I’ve seen how good he is at centre but you are being silly saying we are thinner at centre than back row. Who is the bench edge forward next year? Or will we play kiks and Martin for 80 mins every week and hope neither gets injured or picked in origin(Martin). Forget yeo he doesn’t play edge anymore he plays lock or prop. you want him to be a centre so are coming up with silly reason why he has to play there.

Yeo will never play backrow again and rightfully so. Martin is also a middle moving forward

Lol I don’t even know which you could possibly try to argue. You’ve got a ridiculous wrap on Crichton with that he’s better than Manu bullshit so that one? But I’ve literally tracked and posted the 2 on 1s Critta has f**ked up until origin so how could you argue that? And he f**ked another last week.

Eh, in the end it’s a waste of time because none of you actually want to learn.
f**k mate… how’s the view up there on that high horse you’re riding? Pretty full of yourself there hey?

Just finished watching the game and the things that stood out for me was
Sorenson - all heart but he’s not a middle
Eisenhuth - out and out plodder, his defence is okay but his metres are not enough
Moses Leota - same as Eisenhuth
Martin - not a middle, to small, leave him on an edge
Tago - Great young talent, I’d have him on an edge
Hopgood - Very good young talent but not a middle, edge player only
Kenny - not a starting hooker, good for Reggie’s
Kiks - bleaching his hair has led to more brain farts from him, I definitely wouldn’t pay anywhere the million the dragons are rumoured to be throwing at him
Fish will make a difference but he is only 1 player, TPJ not sure about
we need a couple of big guys that can tackle and make metres, keep the middle tight, we also need a decent back up hooker, Api is great but he’s not getting any younger

I would say Ivan’s got some buying to do in the off season

Agreecwith almost everything.

Sorensen got hammered a lot tonight but he kept coming I think he’s much better in the middle than on the edge.

Went to the 1975 grand final 77 79 and 2010. Pretty well watched listened or followed every match whether radio tv cable car radio or dodgy internet over seas. In my opinion this has to be in top three worse sides to represent the red v in my memory

How am i being silly hahaha

We have critta and momo as our only two centres.

Mays played mostly wing in juniors and nsw cup.

Turuvas a fb who can play a bit of centre at a pinch.

So critta and momo.

Yet at 2nd row we have 3 80min players. Sorensen has played on the edge a lot before at cronulla and i think he would really good there. Strong and mobile like martin with great leg speed and drive. He can also play big minutes.
Hopgood is mobile enough for lock and 2nd row.

We have much more seasoned nrl players and nrl ready rookies for the back row than we do at centre mate.

So no mate, no silly reason he has to be there lol. Its pretty easy really. The reason is its where hes been best. Its where his skills are best utilised. Its where he can play 80 and be an x factor the whole game. If youve watched cup as youd say youd now him and tiny have a brilliant combo together. Wallace played him at 2nd row in cup a bit when they had injuries and literally moved him back to centre during games cause his better there and he won games for them.

Buying a half decent 2nd rower who can come on for 10 or so for kiks and co or just play if theres injuries is much much cheaper and easier than getting a game breaking centre who is a strong defender who slready has a great combo with our possibly future winger taylan.

We are a year off having no backrow. Capwell gone, Martin will keep growing and be a middle and Kikau will be gone

Whys everyone so determined to play martin at prop?

Freddy didnt play him there in origin? Hes not going to get bigger. Hes fully filled out. 183cm and 104kgs. Hes plenty filled out. Gets any bigger and hell just lose fitness, leg speed and mobility. The last two are which make him so dangerous. Out wide he always lands on his belly and gets quick the balls. Against the storm the other week he was very well contained playing in the middle and that was without all their big boppers even playing.

Hes had good games at prop znd know doubt he could fill in there well but undoubtedly his hest games have been at 2nd row.

Like kikau, i think at times we are guilty of not giving him enough early ball just to do his thing. Him and kikau mostly just get it at the line which takes away their effectivenesd
