Really excited to see tpj. If ever there was a time for staines to come in field and sniff out an offload its now. Tpj is the best in the game at it and he attracts so many defenders creating space.

If he hasnt already, i hope IC gives Staines a licence to sit off TPJs hip early in the sets.

We use that crash ball to often with Kiks he struggles to hold onto it as well as the touch passes he often tries, we should just be cutting him out on those ones. Against the roosters we gave him clean early ball and let him wind up, i think that is when he is at his best.

His footwork and speed for a big man with a bit of space is his strength. Giving him the ball early from 40+ out is devastating 50% of the time. Inside the 20 with a rushing line we either cut him out or hit him and he only passes if he gets the arm free to send it wide to a likely unmarked winger.

Nathan ultimately creates the space for Kikau. He’s a huge threat but it’s only really relevant when you don’t know how he’ll be involved in a play. When Nath is out we don’t have the structure or finesse so sides know we’ll hit Kikau hoping he can blow through.

He drops it and the right guys can hog it. A few tweeks and we will be awesome.

Martin didn't pass to an unmarked May last week. The week before. Early in the game Capewell hogged it with Staines unmarked.

He may not play in all the games before the semi finals this is a good one to get his confidence up.No Simms there will be very little pressure for late hits on him
