He needs game time, particularly with Cartwright and to get more kicking in.

The less kicking in general play Moylan has to do the better off we will be. We can get away with his kicks occasionally but it just doesn't come natural to him. It is a skill acquired over many years, thru to the juniors to grade and just not a skill you can develop overnight, unfortunately.

His short kicking is fine and he's the best fieldgoal kicker in the game. So he has the skills there. All works with Wallace at hooker

As you would expect this time of year sides are having injury issues and we are suffering the losses of some keys players not least of which being Moylan, Merrin, Latu etc. The Cowboys have serious issues of there own and will be without Cooper, Winterstein (both confirmed non starters) and doubts over Bolton for this week. Scott Bolton would be a big loss for the Cowboys is he is unfitt to play. Somewhat of an unsung hero for them in recent seasons. He has got better with age and has been in career best form in the past couple of seasons.

Panthers should at the very least bench Moylan to start the game and use him if needed.

We can decide on risk vs reward through the game. If we are winning comfortably without him. Theres no real need to risk him. If it looks like we need him. The option is there atleast

Hunger. This will be the key for who wins this game.

Our young Panthers will be keen to keep the winning streak alive, and will be chomping at the bit for a taste of revenge for the last meeting with the Cowboys.

Cowboys missing some talent, with Thurston, Scott, Cooper and Winterstein out, but that makes them more dangerous in my opinion. They still have some firepower in Hess, Coote, Morgan and Taumalolo and will be wanting to keep their own hopes of finals footy a reachable goal.

The Panthers are also missing some talented names from the line-up, with Merrin and Latu out, Moylan and Whare named on the extended bench, but unlikely to play. However, with the likes of Cleary, DWZ, Blake, Cartwright, RCG and Yeo in some good form, I think we'll be right in this contest until the hooter sounds.

I can see this game being a close contest, with the possibility of a Golden Point finish on the cards. If we can keep our heads up when something inevitably goes wrong, keep the errors and penalties down, I am confident we can get over the talented Cowboys, and take the 2 points that are much needed for our strong run into the finals.

Anyone else think there'll be changes on Saturday? I have a feeling Moylan and Whare will come in for May and Katoa, with Peach moving to the bench
