We got the bounce for our first half tries no doubt but the ones we let in were pretty soft, our goal line defence is usually a lot better than that. We started slow tonight and south’s were the opposite, they definitely had the 50 point flogging in mind when they ran out tonight

If Crichton is our next fullback, where does that leave Staines? I don't think he has what it takes to make a career out of being an NRL winger and everyone tells me he's a fullback in waiting.

What times? He was on the spot for every kick. Either way that’s just experience, positioning can be improved with work pretty easily. He has already improved his positioning at fb a lot in the games he’s had there this year.

Which is why across a pre-season he could start next year in the 1. Edwards needs a big finish to the year

They are good but they are defensive players. Need a bit of skill in the pack early on

It was mentioned on Fox that the Panthers planned to play defensive early in the game. That's why Kicks and TPJ were on the bench. So once the heat had come out of the Souths pack then we would surge over them.

IMO nothing arsey about application if it's done deliberately well, as both of those tries could have been knocked on in the process.
