bennett was asked in a press conference about that, about kev vs mcmanus
and he mentioned that you have to show loyalty to the guys who have done a job for you in the past, especially if they arent playing because of injury.

Beats me he hasn't even played reserves, so what about match fitness?? The reserves are going great guns and with KEVIN back they will blitz it!! Hope Mc Manus goes well last throw of the dice!!

Match fitness shoudnt be too much of an issue since he was only out with a fractured cheekbone and has probably been participating in almost every training session since. I know that's not the same as match fitness but he shouldn't be too far off the pace

Get the forwards running at Thurston all night and kick the ball away from Bowen and we got this.

Dont need anything fancy, just run hard and straight and the cows will open up down the guts, they always do. Just gotta take our opportunities when they inevitably come.

Cowboys defence needs a huge pickup. I think they will tighten the ruck this week. They have a golden shot at a title this year. I believe if the Cows don't win this year Thurston will leave the club in 2014. They are good enough.

If knights end up not making the 8, as much as i hate to say it i can see the cowboys taking it out this year..
flying well under the radar imo..

although with saying that, i have a feeling newcastle can come away with the two..
Someone send in Api Pewhairangi to just throw a stray elbow at thurston..
take one for the team son.!

You can't see him, but Ian is somewhere in between the ones in the black and green bikinis.

They've certainly got the attack to compete with (and beat) the Dogs, Manly and Melbourne, but I've got severe doubts about their defence and defence wins you premierships.

Well they really are running out of time to win one. Thurston and Bowen won't be around forever. They just don't seem to have the big defensive efforts necessary to win away from home. That said how much would you give for their starting props? No shortage of metres there.

I'd really like to see them or the Sharks lift the trophy this year.

God, not the sharks!

I think I'm gonna have to go for the Cowboys to win the premiership, maybe Tigers, all the other teams annoy me.
