Manly had Broncs measure at Suncorp earlier in the year. Both were in similar form too.

I think both Knights & Eagles can win.

The Storm were missing some key players and Clearys radar was way off but there were some very good signs tonight.

The defense on the line was a massive improvement. The forwards ground it out where they'd been getting dominated previously. Most importantly Maloney was back at the level that had him in Dally M contention. The halves in general looked way better, with Clearly clearly benefitting from the space that Maloney gave him. The left edge was brutal. It was pleasing the ease with which we got around them out there and again Maloney deserves plenty of credit for that. Crichton playing like that puts the fullback issue to bed. Like others have said that was a stunning performance that I didnt see coming.

Discipline was the problem. The refs in the first half were atrocious, but amongst the bullshit calls there were dumb penalties at the end of the set on their 40. There were dropped balls and poor options. Even reasonable referees would have seen us at a deficit in possession. It's not going to cut it against a full strength team in the finals.

Still not confident against any of the 8 bar the Dragons, but were closer than we were last week. That's as good as can be expected given the circumstances.

We are a lot closer than this time last week. If we improve by the same amount going into next week who knows

no one's talking about it but Katoa was solid

Yep was very good I thought. Defensively as well.

I think we’d get more value playing Egan on the bench if that’s how we’re going to use our 14. Mays just a bit off the pace atm & doesn’t have the greatest distribution at the best of times.

Up and down. Threw an awful pass from DH which caused us to end a set on our 40 without kicking. Had some good moments though. Defense was better too.

Are you always that rude? Here's a tip, if you don't like my posts, then scroll on by.
Are you always that stupid? Claiming that in hindsight those losses helped.

Those losses didn't help us. Storm missing the likes of Slater, Chambers, Vunivalu, NAS, Munster etc. did.

Oh dear, mxlegend, I see that you may have had one to many drinks. The Storm are a well drilled team, yes they are missing players, so what? They are more experienced than what we are. By the way, me stupid? I do not resort to childish, and bullying, behaviour, when discussing topics. Grow up.

Good effort against what was really a reserve grade side.

Great to see Maloney getting Kikau the ball with monentum. Tonight shows how much we've missed a fit Maloney.

Thank f**k Crichton took that intercept.

For mine, Merrin, RCG and JFH letting us down up front.

Good step forward from prior weeks overall.

Needs to hit his target better. Likes to no look pass.

Defence was better.

Cmon Oldie your boy will get his time eventually, give the Kat some love!

His delivery was top notch.

Interesting to see the thinking behind bringing in Katoa for Egan. Wonder if Maloney had a say in it? Or maybe Egan just needed another day or two to recover.

I think the Dragons will win but I don’t think they will beat the Knights by 20.

I do worry however about the Broncos absolutely flogging Manly. I could see them beating Manly by 33+. Broncos have been in hot form and Manly have given up.

If the dragons win by less than 20 we should actually hope the broncos jump us. Then we get to play the dragons instead of the warriors.
