How hard do you think the Cows will go? Will be hard to get up for this one I would think; weakened team to play, eyes on the big prize the week after.

Penrith should be favourites now.....

Side note. BA keeps picking his son JA on the bench. What a neutral ovservers opinion? I think he looks ordinary and can't understand why he is there over Bryce Cartwright

You need to cover every position on the bench, Can he play hooker? Bryce or Marata can cover the rest

If Parramatta beat the Storm and Cows lose to us, Cows would finish 3rd. Parra 4th. Better for and against for Cows.
The risk could be for nothing.

I also think if you did play the Storm it's best to get them then. Best them and let them go down the long path.
If Storm finished 3rd a d then played the Sharks they could have an easy road to the Grand final.
Knock them off and they will most likely face the Roosters or Souths. Whoever wins that much this weekend most likely would beat Canberra first week.

Think of their run.

Roosters, Eels then first week of finals Penrith, if lost
2nd week Roosters/Souths,
3rd week Sharks/Cowboys/Eels

Great choice .he would be a star in any other jersey .The weight and pain of wearing a parra jersey is to much for any young player to endure

I’m not totally convinced about resting 13 players. I‘d understand resting some, but 13 is a huge call. If we win next week, Luai will have only played two games in two months come the prelim.

Anyhows if Parra get knocked out of finals race I am jumping back on the Cleary bus so make sure you merkins save me a seat just incase.
Hope to see you in the grand final. I've always dreamed of us beating you 13-12 in extra time.

He's good for a young 7. They take time to develop. Not everyone can be first grade standard when they're 20.

Didn't the team win 8 straight after playing 0 games in 6 months? What's your point? They won't be match fit?
This way they pretty much have the finals squad fit, and training together for almost 2 weeks.

The Cleary bus has. A few miles on it look out the rear window and silverdale is holding on tight hoping the bus will head back to Balmain

Luai certainly didn't look under done, nor the Fish.
Missing this game doesn't mean putting the feet up. It will be an intense, uninterupted preparation specifically suited to a finals campaign.
If we don't win the comp, it won't be because players missed this game. It will be because another team has closed the gap.
