Belief is powerful thing in rugby league and the Dragons seemed to have more belief now than for a mighty long time.

Just gotta build on it cut the errors down and we'll challenge any team imo...
I'm looking forward to see what game plan Griffin comes up with for the Manly clash. I'd be having Sims harass Cherry-Evans all game long. Hit him hard and often!

Is Saab injured?
Holding onto the ball, dominant possession & defend well will get the job done. Most of our pointes conceded this year have come off the back of our errors.

Also I watched the Cow’s replay again today & Dufty definitely did clock off on the Holmes try. He had ample time to clean up. Not good. Also Tariq wasn’t as bad as I first thought, he flattened Drinkwater leading to an error.

Maybe we may see Dufty and Ramsey swap positions in defence in the not too distant future:
  • Ramsey to take the high balls at the back.
  • Ramsey to defend in the last line.
  • Ramsey to position himself to defend agaisnt opposition threats.

Maybe an option mate.

I think right now we should keep the backline intact and give Ramsey more time in 1sts. Confidence etc.

But I see your point.

That could be an option possm when Ramsey has played a few more games and gained some confidence in 1sts, maybe continued with his bulking up programme as well.

Edit : I read possm's post and replied then noticed TruSaint already said the same. Sorry. Good idea though.

So does Foran.

I watched their extended highlights against Souths and honestly can't remember Foran doing anything of note ( other than causing the fracas in the last minute for no reason ) or recall the commentators mentioning him. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

We have tried similar things in the past with players doing different tasks depending on whether we were defending or attacking and it proved extremely difficult, confusing and time consuming.

Each player needs to be able to do the tasks of the position he is selected in and do those tasks without hesitation and where appropriate with the spontaneity that gives individuals players their appeal and value.

Last but not least the speed with which turnovers now occur means that response time to situations is much less and trying to swap players from wing to FB just brings more opportunities for the opposition to pick holes in us.
