Round 3 vs Sharks

Like others have said elsewhere. I am worried for Mybe being hooker for most of the game because of his passing from dummy half. He is slow and pauses a bit. He would be better playing a bit there late in each half but has a good running / passing game at 7.
So my solution which I expect no one to like is I would start Hunt there for this week, Mybe to 7 with Amone. Sullivan on the bench. Switch Hunt & Mybe back or if one needs a rest Sulllivan to 7 or 9.

It makes good sense to do exactly that. Mbyes little stint at 9 wasn't very encouraging. he'd be much better at 7. Hunt can still run the show from 9 no problems.

Honestly tho8ght Lomax was concussed there for a whole. Looked really wobbly
From his goal kicking to his general play, Zac has that rocks or diamonds inconsistency that disqualifies him from the elite class of player and Freddie's pet name for him "the special one". He's still young and that could all change but those earmarking him as a current state of origin centre need a reality check.

Hope we didn't pay SOO rates for his long contract. For me his consistency needs to improve. Still young yes but he has more NRL experience than a lot in the side. Don't think he ever will make SOO but if he does hope it is on merit and not hype as it will mean we benefit. Again one of 3 or 4 players that if they improve will ensure we are finals bound . At present opposition's know which way he steps and is not pacey. If he works on some new tricks that will help.

For me there's way to many in front or around Lomax at SOO level. Turbo, Mitchell both fullbacks playing centre. Fullback has Teddy with Papenhuyzen if they decide to leave Turbo at centre post teddy, then young guys like Bradman Best, Staggs, Crichton.

I am not impressed by the bench this week - obviously in normal circumstances if everyone was available we would have McGuire, Burgess and Woods but we this week it is looking weak

That’s probably the main reason why de belin is on the bench

I'm hoping we play with a bit of flair against the shonks. Fewer usual hit-ups for 5 and kicks on the 6th. No side running from drummy half pass back to a straight runner who gets lined up and smashed gaining 8 metres (or simply drops the ball again, usually in our half). I'd love to see a sweeping backline movement where Lomax doesn't have to fight out of a tackle. Oh, and I'm hoping the Easter bunny brings me lots of chocolate eggs! 😀😀

Bench looking weak, Kerr, Ford, Gowerski
It is starting to look similar to last year's bench - not including Gosiewski.

Not having the 8 players mentioned by Big Rig shows weakness now in our depth. Having Mbye on the bench was handy - hope he will be ok for the full game.

I am worried now with what the Sharks will do to us.
