The only way the Dogs will score is off a kick. They tried to to drag Sauce in field last attacking raid but he didn’t take the bait! Happened right in front of our bay.

Cody and Kaeon likely to be suspended next week!

Woooohoooo what a great way to end a very good Good Friday!!! What a performance from our boys! What a game!! 38-0 is one hell of a scoreline against any team in the NRL and I'm pretty stoked with it, especially holding them to nil, that's the best part for me. It wasn't the perfect game from the boys as we looked a bit clunky sometimes and not everything came off but yet, we still score that many points. I think the boys didn't get out of second gear tonight, we played well within ourselves. However, that's a good thing in games like this. We don't have to come out all guns blazing, sometimes it's good to just go through the motions. Even then, the game never looked in doubt and the boys always looked comfortable. When you're playing within yourself like that, 38-0 is very impressive.

We did well to start the game as the Dogs came out firing. Most of the first twenty minutes was played down our end as the Bulldogs were playing really well. Yet, we managed to withstand all of that and never really looked in trouble, you could sense the boys were just easing their way into the game. As the minutes ticked over we started to look sharper and sharper, before finally breaking through with a beautiful try of a shift to Sauce. From there, we threatened a few times but couldn't ice the play. And still we never looked in trouble. A beautiful, scintilating try off the combo between Cookie and Cody extended the lead to 14 and we looked super comfortable.

The second half was similar in the way we played, still played within ourselves but as the game wore on, our dominance shone through. Despite everything the Dogs threw at us, we still never looked in trouble and always looked in control. As I say, it was dominant. Three beautiful tries had us all on our feet at home. Again, the Cookie and Cody show for one, that was incredible. The vision and the class from Cody again to put in a perfect kick for AJ and then a pin point grubber from Benji for you know who, our man Latrell. it was classy from the boys! But the final try to ice a great afternoon was certainly my favourite. What an effort from Reyno and to see him streak away, score the try and then kiss the Rabbit actually made me a bit emotional considering the current situation.

Just a very controlled, dominant and classy performance to get the job done and we gave our for and against a healthy boost. Exactly what the doctor ordered. A great way to finish a very good Good Friday!

A very nice early present the day before my birthday too!!
