May’s current court problems could affect his performance especially in a position that he may not be up to speed in. For mine the look on his face and the demeanour last Thursday were not unlike the first 45 minutes of the 20 Grand Final.
The club needs to support him with this, get him a decent lawyer and help him negotiate a confidential settlement with a minimum of media.

Regardless to what the players are saying and what's been put out in the media I will wait till kick off to see how we actually run out. Who knows with IC

Yep the girls deserve the payout he admitted guilt so get it sorted so all can move on. I doubt the women would want a constant reminder either.

I'm sure they are. I'm wonder whether the victim might have her own PR team that want exactly the opposite? More media exposure

Seriously? Why would she want more exposure?

May is going to get cleaned out because he quite clearly broke the law and a good lawyer will very easily argue the damage it did to the girl.

Any help we give financially would count under the salary cap so its not going to happen. We have stood by him and helped him plenty. He needs to put his big boy pants on and deal with it.

Not suggesting the club help financially, just support him and get him a good lawyer. It's in the interests of all that this is resolved as quietly as possible.

Yeah I think the lawyer would count on the cap. A club got in trouble for flying a kids parents down to watch him debut and not declaring it a couple seasons ago. Anything we do for him would be a fringe benefit and if the ATO is taxing it then it will count on the cap.

I doubt this will even end up in court, May will just have to get the best lawyer he can and let them negotiate the best he can.

Mate if you think PR firms don't have involvement in civil and criminal matters just do a quick google.

I'm not saying she has, but I believe she would. Media exposure can help generate more money from Victim's of Crime or Civil compensation payouts.

I have no doubt given May's Salary and the media exposure already generated and no doubt more to come, he's going to be out of pocket a fair bit of coin.

Would prefer Chrichton wasn't fullback. He's averaged defensively and needs all the experience and combination building there he can get. Oh well, hopefully it spurs on his attacking game and gets him some confidence, as that's been average this season.
