I’m not a huge Ivan fan but we should be 3/3 without our halfback & fullback. Why take a risk when it’s not needed? Let Crichton learn his position, he’s not goin to be our full time fullback for the foreseeable future.
I dunno.

Aekins is definitely not our future fullback. Edwards is pretty average most the time. When he's firing he's solid. But not to the point where you wouldn't replace him if someone with X factor came along.

Our problem is we have too many holes in our backline. Crichton could potentially fix any one of them. Problem is what fix improves us most?

Personally I think centre is best. But there's a case to be made for Fullback aswell.

If May is the answer, the question must be pretty f**ked to begin with... The guy hasn't played for f**king ages.

Warriors have a huge injury / suspension toll for this game. We really should put a big score on them.
Does anyone know if all those hideous haircuts in the team were a discipline thing like May’s apparently was or just “fashion”?

Will need to be a lot better than last weeks garbage. Naden needs to be in the side we need a tryscorer, after Kikau our biggest threat was a 19yo in his fourth game, Cleary needs to prioritise putting points on the board with these new rules. We just cant carry 3 attacking duds in the backline with Aekins, Mansour, Whare. That is 3 guys who just dont threaten when we attacking.

Both halves need to do a lot more this week.

I assume the haircuts was down to boredom over the break.
One did it a few followed.
A few look horrendous.
Sauce looks like he has been scalped, Tamou looks like a schoolboy, and Kikau looks like he has been hanging around sheep.

Poor attack 1st up can be sort of excused due to long break and no trials.. if no improvement then changes should follow

Call me sentimental, I think Mansour is a little hard done in some respects and while not the try scoring machine we all crave he still offers a lot of the team with his work rate and metres gained which are still a critical aspect of the game. In many respect’s young Brian To’o is rather like Josh Mansour, he is small in stature, is not particularly quick and his strongest attributes are his work rate and metres gained bringing the ball back.

I agree we do need more pace and attacking threat from our back line I just tend to think the cupboard is pretty bare and we don’t have a lot of quality. If there is any money available to recruit for 2021 I just hope we actually acquire a three quarter with some pace and ability and not another back rower!!!!!!!!!

I hope we can put this one to bed early. Otherwise, I think the short turn around and last week's grind will count against us.

Nikorima is a danger. A good target for our attack but has looked sharp with the ball in hand.

Honestly if they defend like last week then Stephen Kearney could run out and score a hattrick by himself. We need to be x20000 better than last time.
