If he doesn't want offloaders. He picks wingers on form so does that mean if Kev has another blinder in NSW Cup Mansour misses out completely? I don't want that as most Panther fans don't

Kev will never get into the team over Mansour. What ever form he's in. I think your being a bit paranoid Franklin.

Your theory isn't backed up by fact though.

Its that simple.

Melbourne targetted him with success. How many kicks on the full did he take on the full on weekend? The test will be this week. a half that only kicks with a huge forward pack so they should get plenty of chances to attack in the air. Though ball in hand he will steam roll Merritt

I would hope anyone in NSW Cup will be picked if they are playing well enough (even Wes). We have a team of players that can move around a bit. Even both centres can play left and right.

Did I say that? Putting words in my mouth champ. If you don't think he has coached offloads out of their game your f**king delusional.

You basically said it. If he is coaching our forwards not to offload why do they still offload? And why would he be ok for backs to offload but not the forwards?

They barely offload, We play the most boring grinding football in the comp. I don't mind though, I prefer we play the grinding style then throwing it around
This is just stupid.

Why is it stupid? Mansour will never be that bad that he will get dropped what ever form kev is in and he is 3x the player.

It would never happen.

Mansour had one poor game with the hands but was still very valuable in making close to 200m. His hands are dicey and I'd expect Kev or Eto to come in if he continues.

So Melbourne is your yardstick ?

Cronk probably has the best kicking game in the league. And its just one game.

There are several factors to defending kicks. Height is just one of them.

Positioning
Timing
Strength
Ball handling

all play a part.

So far in his career he has not proved to be a liability defending kicks. Rather than cherry pick games you have to look at the overall picture.

Not if he continues to make meters & break tackles.

Those fumbles he had on the weekend were easily forgiveable given the conditions & circumstances of the drops.

Handling, problems handling kicks and defence/positioning are all invented Mansour problems. Lack of pace is very real though.

People are looking for some form of perfection.

Its just not there, not amongst the wingers we have. There's some good players no doubt, but all have their disadvantages.

That said Eto could be anything. Bit I see no reason why he has to take mansours spot.

I could just as easily see DWZ move to fullback & Eto to that wing.

Moylans lack of pace bringing the ball back is a much bigger issue than mansours lack of pace.

Melbourne are a well drilled team if there is a weakness they will find it. They did. Look at the Souths game last year he and Wes had no idea in defence. His 1st half against Newcastle was nothing to write home about either.

The overall picture is there is only a handful of good teams in the comp. It's easy to get by with weaknesses until you play the top teams. We had a half that only kicked yet never went to his wing. Nor can I remember him ever taking a kick on the full.

Lets look at positioning he is always coming in. Look at his dropped intercept. He stays on his wing he may of put Robinson into touch.

You need a bigger sample than that before seeing the whole picture. Its just not enough of a sample.

Anyone would think I say Mansour shouldn't be in the side. Who would think a simple suggestion of a move closer to the action.... Imagine if he doesn't get re-signed the riot there will be
