So you resort to name calling because someone has a different view to you? I think its a great idea to get Mansour in the forwards were he could produce those powerful runs once or twice a set which would give someone with more speed and who scored 29 tries last year an opportunity on the wing.

For one Simmons should not be close to our first grade team again, Love simmo but I would of scored 29 tries out side Whare last year.

Mansour is a winger, he can produce what you said on the wing. He gets a sets started perfectly also milks plenty of penalties. He would be less effective up the middle.

Mansour offers a lot from the wing, I think he should keep his spot for now. That being said he is short and slow for a winger and can be error prone. I wouldnt mind seeing him giving a try in the backrow but not at this stage. Konrad Hurrel has been good in the backrow when he has played there this year so it can work.

The Great Wing Debate!!

For mine, Sauce has one spot locked in. He is a metre eater and Can finish!! (when he holds on to the pill!!)

That leaves Eto, DWZ and Kevy to battle it out. Sorry Simmo, I think you are a champ, but your place is now in the 2's mentoring our exciting young backs.

Who do we go with?? f**kkkk Knows.

He meant Nabuli 29 tries in 24 NSW Cup games. On the back of a good pre-season and off season was penciled in to take the left wing round 1 until he was hurt.

So you don't think he could get 100m+ 3 or 4 offloads in the pack? (something no one can do atm) could be the 1st hitup of the set like he is now. Leave the winger to be able to defuse bombs and just be in position when we need him to be. Idris can pick up the hard stuff we lose with no Mansour.

The test will come this week. If are smashed in the pack again and Reynolds who has a great kicking game peppers Mansour and has success. That should get it in motion.

Mansour isn't error prone and let in one whole try from kicks last season in FG, and f**k knows how long his last was before then. He gets the job done.

Gets the job done doesn't cut it anymore we are past that stage. Kingston, Brown get the job done also doesn't mean that are the best for a spot in the 17.

Mansour stays on the wing, we need a winger at the moment coming in and chewing up meters giving the forwards a break.

we need to get him one on one with the opposing winger and watch him run through like a Juggernaut (see the 1st try against Newcastle in Rnd 1).

personally I think Mansour & Idris will make way into the forwards in the future, both have great strength & rack up the meters and. dont worry, it wont happen for a couple of seasons though, our young backs are still developing, need more time and they'll gradually be moved into the squad.

Can clearly see Gus, Ivan & co are trying to make a top FG squad and a top NSW cup squad for the next few seasons with the NSW cup side to become FG (obviously LOL), except both squads will have played & developed with each other which is giving us a headstart to other clubs. the only downside for this is other clubs will come poaching for our players offering them Full time in FG :(

Gets the job done better than you could reasonably expect from any first grade footballer with defensive results better than many (most) who are praised for their aerial ability. It's an invented problem.

He does more than just 'gets the job done' anyway.

He's a true x factor player.

Meters & tackle breaks are much more important than the qualities he lacks.

My mistake, I agree would love to see Nabuli in first grade but he has going to have to wait. I have no doubts he would make 100 plus meter's in the pack but personally I think he would get found out defensively in the middle of the park, he's not the greatest defender.

Cleary would coach the offloads out of him like he has most of the other players in the pack.

They mean bugger all when we are getting our line attacked. No one will run through our centres. Shouldn't go through our forwards ( Bar that soft garbage in the Parra game) Right side have Whare and Simmons/DWZ no weakness in the air that side so no use bombing that wing. So where else bomb and use the height over Moylan ( no guarantee he's isolated.) So you go wider and just bomb the left side. We cover that off we have a great defensive team.

He would be an x factor off the bench against lazy tired forwards. Should we get an injury in the backs we slot him out there. the games he didn't play we didn't lose because he wasn't there. So we know we can win with someone else on the wing.

So cleary only coaches forwards not to offload? lol sounds legit :sarcasm:.

If he doesn't want offloaders. He picks wingers on form so does that mean if Kev has another blinder in NSW Cup Mansour misses out completely? I don't want that as most Panther fans don't

Your theory isn't backed up by fact though.

Its that simple.
