Abusive? I repudiate that wholeheartedly as you’re the one who used the “door knob” analogy.
The inference and the intended recipient was obvious.
Have a Good Weekend Jimmy.....We Won...enjoy the win.

And, it was against the team I loathe the most.
Even more reason for us the celebrate...Enjoy.
The fairest thing I can say is that your post was ambiguous at best.Read my post again.
I said “We tend not to” meaning we usually drop our bundle after a bad call or two. Thankfully last night wasn’t the case.
How many times in the past have we got a dud call or two and gone to shit? Plenty.
Hopefully we have turned the corner now we have “stability”.
Refs are paid professionals...just like football players are..who also make mistakes EVERY game. As do taxi drivers, politicians, bread makers, CEOs, you and I.
They should be held accountable and fans can call out bad performances...I agree 100%
All I'm saying is that bad ref decisions are always going to occur in every game, just in the same way bad dropped balls are going to happen.
It's all a part of the game. And the more focus has become zero'd in on referee decisions, video refs, trying to eliminate bad decisions altogether, using better technology, super slow motion, more referees on the field, etc... The more we've done this the more people feel angered and get wound up about bad decisions. In the early-mid 90s bad decisions happened throughout a game but nobody dwelled on it as much as they do today... They JUST GOT ONE WITH IT at the end of the day and the game felt more free flowing, open, and exciting. Today everyone wants to find a reason to feel hard done by...sometimes even if they win the game Haha it's incredible.
Next time we get a bad decision I'm gonna be annoyed, but I'm going to realise it was just our turn and it's all part of the drama too. It's always been that way and always will be.
Ah, yes. Understood now. I guess one advantage is that we can have have more voices in the refs ear.Haha, yeah I know. I was taking a bit of a swipe at the fact we have so many captains
LOL. Daly was not respectful. He refused to take no for an answer and the ref had to tell him to calm down.Fox Sports’ chief NRL reporter James Hooper told Triple M on Sunday Annesley admitted Munro erred in the non-decision.
“I’ve spoken to the NRL’s head of football Graham Annesley this morning, and the Manly Sea Eagles fans are going to be screaming blue murder because he’s admitted the referees got that wrong,” Hooper said.
“It should have been a penalty and Daly Cherry-Evans and the Sea Eagles should have been given the rights to lock the score up at 12-all.
“In relation to what happened I thought Daly was respectful and handled it as best he could in testing circumstances, but from Graham Annesley it was an error by the referees, they got that one wrong. It should have been a penalty.
A captain arguing the point after a decision has been made? One can wonder what they hope to gain by calling for a penalty well after the full time whistle has been blown.
Well you quoted me...A captain arguing the point after a decision has been made?
Happens a hundred times every weekend
Haha. Your support for Daly Cherry-Evans is touching.I still think DCE had every right to blow up.
And yes. I’m happy we won. Mary sucks. Go Saints.
Still don't get the "escort" comments on Lafai.
It would be easier to take if they called it a block as Lafai got there first and stopped which he is entitled to do.
If you want an example of an escort, check out the 3 Manly players that impeded Ravalawa chasing a bomb at the 42.5 min mark. Of course no penalty and not noticed by the commentators.
Some of the reporters clearly hven't bothered to watch the whole game as their reports are making it sound like the Dragons got the benefit of other calls throughout the game.
What's the bet we cop it this week with escorts in another media driven ref crackdown? Though if it happens with both sides, I won't be concernedLove how the media have sensationalized the one play that the ref's ruled in our favour.
No reference to Manly receiving 6 second-half penalties in a row. Apparently, Manly was apparently perfect during that period and Saints continually infringed the rules.
Media is such a joke.
I like what Norman said....tough 1 point wins and resilience againt womanly setting us up for a good year.
