Actually I remember when Kenny started he was explosive and lasted long in the game.
Players who don't get a ton of first grade game time in their early 20s often end up lasting a bit longer due to the lower amount of general wear and tear. The real issue is whether his injury issues reoccur.Interesting to see Luke and Korisiou are similar build. Luke had 13 tackles complete at , maybe I am just looking for a ready made replacement for Api, but if he can build his endurance and stamina quickly it could work. However he is 27 so he has short NRL career if he keeps going.
Well said. Go to Anfield and listen to the Kop sing. It's a religious experience, simply awe inspiring. They get mocked by other fans too. A moment of silence will be greeted with "you only sing when you're winning", although just lately that's most of the time. Honestly, it's hairs standing up on the back of the neck stuff.Massive Raiders fan here.
I wasn’t offended by the Panthers Viking clap at all. It’s a lot of fun and I’m happy other clubs can experience a bit of Canberra style atmosphere.
I think it really shows NRL clubs should be more innovative and develop their own crowd traditions via actions (Viking clap etc) or a song the whole crowd sings through the match or at the start.
It’s so much fun in Canberra I’ve even seen the away fans enjoy it and join in having a great time doing the Viking clap.
Panther’s fans will remember how much fun it was for a very long time so they should do the logical next step and create their own crowd traditions.
Yea that too, can't snap fingers and expect 55-60min from him. 27 and he was gassed after 20. How long would it take a player like this to reach 55-60min games?
That was many concussions ago. I'd be very nervous were I a Storm fan and he's being used in a tackling forward role, as is customary for 14's. I know he deserves the blue jumper, but its not about who deserves what, but what the team needs. He did the 14 role for Storm before. QLD will use someone similar in the role

In Australia we are very conservative with our crowd chanting. "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie" doesn't really cut the mustard. I would love to see it change and I don't mean the Panthers singing that terrible "go the mighty Panthers" song. Every time I hear it, my ears bleed.
We could do something like the "Fields of Anfield Road" song. Here are the Kop
We could sing the "Fields of Penrith Park"
All around the fields of Penrith Park
where once we watched King Brandy play, and could he play,
we had Bizza on the wing
and dreams and songs to sing
of the glory of Penrith Park.
We don't need to copy the Kop, but anything but "go the mighty Panthers" it's more cheezy than a block of cheddar.

Last day game at home for a very long time. Sunday afternoons will never be the same.
Soni Luke had a great debut. Very confident. Probably should have had a second assist but he went for the line. At least he backs himself. Great to see.
Canberra defended quite well. But they were absolutely dominated in the middle. Their back 5 also had nothing. I actually wanted them to get some soft penalties to make a game of it.
Round 21 at Bruce stadium will be very rowdy. They were disrespected y the crowd yesterday. Ricky isn't the kind to forget that.
He isnt 27 till next feb. It was his first taste of FG its a big step up in intensity, he may of had his hands on his hips a couple times but he still did his job till he came off, didnt drop off any tackles and his service was perfect except for one pass that looked like a marker got a hand to his arm.
Fangs: It is was it is.....(or was)
I and many others sat through that 72 odd drubbing, where even the crowd announcer was getting into the act.
Winners celebrate while loosers complain and sook.
No it was the denWasn’t is a Raiders fan that started the Viking clap yesterday? I’ve heard this from a few mates who sat in the same bay as the instigator(s).
Easily the best sporting anthem of all time. i would love to go to Anfield!!Fans from almost a dozen sports teams now sing You’ll Never Walk Alone.
It’s just fun and the NRL needs more of it.
Taylah has scored a truck load he had no right to. Comparing the finishing of Taylan to Staines is the last f**king argument you want to be going with when trying to defend Staines, for another season, from reality.Taylan May has missed a few too by going over the line, is he no good as well?
He doesn't deserve it though. Hynes is so much more
Yes he embarrassed himself as usual.I haven’t had the chance to peruse through the actual Game Day thread yet.
Did @skeepe self-combust?!?
Who stood out in the lower grades yesterday?Hynes was a fringe FG until this year. Needs to show more 1st
