Not so sure about that, looked like a bit of a boot clip by accident and Moses tripped over with plenty of dramatisation. Game was done by then anyhow. The refs were poor but in a brand new stadium, with all that support, they were bound to get all the calls. We had to be better than that, especially defensively.
Saints were very poor and very lazy at times in defence.
McInnes played OK but his leadership is rubbish. He gives away too many penalties each game.

Frizell should never have been sent back on after he copped that hit in the eye.
Lawrie had his worst game this year. Hogged the ball with low metres and was not there in defence when required.
It is a big joke playing Latimore off the bench. He is not effective anymore.
Dufty was out of position for most of the game and very poor in defence.

The ref had a bad game. Two weeks in a row we have been on the wrong end of bad ref rulings.

The rot started with Latimores pathetic attempt on Gutherson from marker.
He is simply not NRL standard. Has to go, surely there is someone better available. I don’t watch lower grades.
I look at the young kiwi bloke that has been coming on for the Roosters, then I see Latimore
Tend to agree...we are in pretty poor shape if Latimore is all we have to offer.....I was a fan many years ago but his better football is long gone....yes we are giving more young forwards a go now Luc, Host etc but surely there is some young kid in our ranks that has more to offer....but like Aitken Im sure McGrexit knows whats best

The big problem we have now is we are potentially bringing in 2 more youngsters. We are pretty much the CC team now.

Agree with all points here. Frizell being allowed back on cost us one try. Medical staff should have done their job there.

If Hunt goes down we will never win another game of footy. He carried the team today and now all we need is for him to go into one of his slumps...

Lawrie just boring hit ups a la Graham and then Mary hits them with the triple whammy of Latimore. Sims has been quiet this year without JDB beside him. Vaughan put in a good typical effort but when Luciano and Host are the clear stand outs that's a bit of a worry for mine.

Dufty woeful positionally, very costly.

With an ordinary pack and that old familiar weak defence on our edges we are screwed.

The team fell apart today once Friz was gone but we did cop some poor calls. I think we could have held our own if Norman stayed on the field but it was not to be. Although he setup our first try and made a number of good runs, I was disappointed with McInnes today. He gave away four silly penalties, including the one from the kick off and he and Luc presented the Parra hooker with his try. Sometimes teams can exploit him being an 80 minute hooker and tackling himself to a standstill. Our defence becomes loose through the middle. Mind you McInnes is not helped with Latimore and Graham being too slow when fatigued. Tariq also seemed quiet and our wingers, heroes one minute were villains the next with two tries scored from bombs. Lomax was within a metre of scoring twice and he is a strong defender on ‘most’ occasions but he showed his inexperience a number of times. And Aitken was consistent even though he was given limited time. He rushed in and tackled no one for Parramatta’s last try and bombed a try at the end of the game with unmarked players on either side of him. But the game was well gone before he ran on.

The players are also at fault...BUT..who trains them..who creates the structures...

Rewind back to 2009 - 2011...watch a few games...

....thank you and have a good evening.
Yes the players are at fault , the Refs had a bad game , we did have injuries , but its just not now its been the same for ever with Mary . If it was his first , second year would not be blaming the coach as well ..... But its not his first or second year .....

Its of little consequence because most of our second half was poor but Ive watched it over and over and Im positive that Fergusons hand promoted the ball forward before he regathered for his try....unlike the commentators and bunker that said it come off our bloke..not convinced .as I said it didnt matter to the result but just curious what others on here think

Lomax needs time in reserve grade playing against men.

He is way too green for FG.

Way too Green.

Thank you....sick and tired of the Mary apologists on here....he's had 5 1/2 years to instill his "Culture" or Stamp on the team....and what we get is the same old same old....

Makes some supporters Happy....I am just sick and tired of this...wouldn't happen regularly under Bennett....team turned up to play..had toughness....anyway I'll leave it at that..

Very disappointed supporter.

Take your point mate but does it really matter in the short/long term...if imo one bloke is just not producing (Latimore) then surely give someone else a shot....seriously what have we got to lose...with experienced players like Sims, Friz, McInnes around them I dont see a problem...its not that I dont like Lats its just that he brings very little enthusiasm yo the side when he comes on. anyjow just my observation

To me the players seem to be lacking in energy, even in the first half when we were in front 14-0. In the second half line speed became non existent and there seemed to be no structure in defence or attack. To me there seemed to be no 'plan'.

The real worry is i've become so used to losing under Mary that it's all just very 'meh' now.

Comps aren't won in May (we know that more than anyone) but for mine it's Roosters >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Storm >>>>> Rabbits >>>>>>>>>>> The rest >>>>>>> Penrith
