Only two Panther players were non juniors. This is a pleasing omen.
Surely we aren’t claiming Kiks?

Good point. He did make his senior debut for the Panthers though.Surely we aren’t claiming Kiks?
Storm player only made contact with To'o's neck area when he was going for the line. Ashley Klein vid ref BTW.It didn't matter in the end, but the bunker ruling that it was OK for the Storm lead runner to take Kikau out could have cost us the match, and was clearly incorrect. You can't just knock over players in the defence line.
Also I'm not so sure they got the To'o no try decision correct, I'll take a closer look a bit later.

He joined the Cowboys when he was 19, but he debuted at the Panthers. Gus talked about how raw he was when he arrived and they put a plan in place to develop him and improve his stamina and turn him into a player that can play big minutes. He played as prop at the Cowboys and was the Toyota cup prop of the year. When he joined the Panthers he played in our NSW cup team for a year and was developed as a second rower.Surely we aren’t claiming Kiks?

No doubt if The Roosters bought him under these circumstances they would claim him as one of their juniors but unless he moved from Cambridge Park to Townsville when he was 18, he is definitely not a Panthers junior. He joined the Cowboys when he was 19, but he debuted at the Panthers. To'o definitely had a foot out.
Great game, I loved it, we had a ball.
few things that stood out to me.
-Edwards - in the 1st half, we field for a genuine stars, he was the best player on the park. I don’t care what anyone says, I super happy he’s our fullback, he’s really developing his game.
-Tmay - I know I bang on about him a lot, but last night he really showed why I believe he’s the best utility in the game. Slotted straight in FB which he hasn’t played since U20’s and did such a good job. Maybe not in attack, but his defence and chat out the back was game saving. He has such a good footy brain.
-Yeo - if he’s not the blues 13, Freddy is kidding himself.
So happy with the gutsy win, they really made me proud.
Hopefully the boys pull up better than expected and we move onto Manly

A fit Burton plays. you move as few as possible. Wouldn't surprise if Burton into FB to save a reshuffle
I would’ve thought Burton would be a better option in the centres on the left, with Crichton to FB.

We didnt gain an advantage from our obstruction. We took the tackle and Storm got to hold him down and reset their defensive line.Last night Tyrone May gave himself up after an obstruction (so he wouldn't gain an advantage). We retained the ball 40m out from the Storm line, with another couple of tackles up our sleeves to potentailly score points or force a repeat set etc. Melbourne as the infringed team, gain nothing - despite us obstructing their defence.
With every game this year Edwards is looking better and better. Really angry about the injury.
Yeah you're right. The Panthers have confirmed the news.Out for a month by the sounds of it.
