Might need Martin to go to prop. I said it was a no no after last week but if Fish is out we might have to make the call

Depends on Sorensen.

The issue is the lack of edge forward to come in. Smith and Hopgood should come in. Smith would push Martin to some middle minutes

Yeo will carry us home

Im not all over the shop at all..just referring to the modern game.

You are the one that said i was "bullshit" for saying salmon did nothing when sos was off... yet he did nothing.....

As i said, just reading your post i dont think you get it. Stuck in the madge thought process..

Difference between kenny and salmon vs kenny and tmay/turuva is that the latter two actually genuiely cover the backs...they have x factor and they have..... SPEED.

The modern game is built around SPEED.... especially when players are fatigued...so keeny playing in the forwards and api playing a running 9 when blokes are cooked is the way forward

You are talking absolute rubbish, the Madge thought process jesus

Bellamy put Hynes on the bench.

And I'm very thankful he did.

Edit: just remembered our 2020 GF team...

Hynes covers halves to be fair

Yep. I remember Roosters had 2 wingers on their bench in a Prelim Final in 2017... went as well as we did with Naden

The Dragons made it difficult. Fair play to them, they were gutsy in defeat. We saw tonight why no game is a given despite some beforehand suggesting otherwise.

The class of our side makes games givens

take tonight

45% possession

No Cleary or Leota to start
To'o and JFH didn't finish the game

I thought Yeo was quiet yet Made 150m and 43 tackles

Defence is too good for most sides

Kenny is very average and I'm not sure what he offers other than hooker backup during Origin.

The middle defence goes on the back foot when he is on.

Playing him as a loose forward is madness
Kennys a brilliant defender.

I can cop our attack lacking flair when hes on and apis offf...

But to suggest we are on the back foot when hes on in defence is pure lunacy.

Like your off your head.. kenny is an extrenley good defender with a huge hige engine..there was games last year with api out where he came straight in with no nsw cup/lower grade footy... and made 50+ tackles with no misses....

Im all for open banter with betcats and franklin and i get its a forum but saying we lose ground or making out like kenny is avg is d is just plain lies

Hynes was a great benchie in 2020 however he wasn't needed in the prelim with Grant on the bench.

He was purely there out of sentiment for how good he was at fullback and I doubt Bellamy ever makes that mistake again.

The form Michael Morgan had in the 2017 finals was insane. Played perfect footy until the GF until they lost a prop in the first five minutes of the GF. They were one in a hundred going in but they weren't beating the Storm pack missing a starting front rower.

He gets dominated by the ball runner every time.

He has no acceleration, size, guile and can barely pass.

I had $50 on the Dragons at 4-1. It was to good odds to ignore with Leota and Nathan missing away from home. Throw in injuries well.... Big win.
You need about 12-13 wins to make th finals. Only 10 more to go. If can win the next one before Nathan is back it would be huge. Even if don't 2/3- without is impressive.

Give Salmon time. There is a player there somewhere I can feel it. Eels gave up on him to quickly I feel.

Mate...
You spat out rubbish.. told me i was bullshit....
Called you out. You were wrong.
Stop whinging..

If Kenny and Api spend a significant amount of time on the field together this year I will eat my hat, if they do and it makes us a better side I will stop posting completely, it’s an absolute fantasy you’ve lost the plot. They were on the field for a decent amount of time tonight, it did not make Api run more or be more creative, it did not improve our go forward and it certainly didn’t stop us being dominated through the middle. It’s just rubbish.

Skimmed through the most recent four pages and it is all rather depressing.

It was always going to be a difficult game but we somehow found a way to win.

Some of the banter, too and fro is just bullshit really, we won they lost. We have sustained some significant injuries which May hurt the narrative of those who suggested we cannot lose before origin. Surprise, surprise take nothing for granted.

I haven’t looked at the stats, read any summaries or acquainted myself with anything other than whats been said on here. Just watching the 80 minutes, I thought it was a gutsy win against a side who put us to the sword and we came away with two points. I’m very happy with the outcome if not happy about the injuries.

And that has what to do with me calling you about about how many touches salmon had when sos was off......??

Keep clinging to that cause everything else you have said has been hot garbage, talking about what Bellamy does with smith and grant as if that is relevant to us and whatever the Madge thought process is.

When he left Sharks to go to Parra Rothfield wrote an article stating how big a loss he was & how he’s a 200 game nrl star. Let’s hope that comes out in him. I too think there’s a footballer in there.
