With Storm and ARLC finally putting some effort into Vic Jnr RL it can only ne a help in getting kids playing League instead of Union.Storm will benefit from this.
Remember when Fitzsimmons said the storm would die and rebels taken overStorm will benefit from this.
Yep. It’s a reverse PerthWith Storm and ARLC finally putting some effort into Vic Jnr RL it can only ne a help in getting kids playing League instead of Union.

don't think it will help much if the Rebels fold except perhapsStorm will benefit from this.
I’ve been to Melbourne twice in the last 6 months. I saw people wearing Storm jerseys but not once did I see anyone in a Rebels jersey or even any mention of them.don't think it will help much if the Rebels fold except perhaps
- top juniors might go to RL over RU if they play both
- might get a better stadium deal since there is one less tenant
- potential sponsorship/corporate support
My understanding is that there is a bit of cross-over in the rebels/storm support base
another reason why the rebels folding might not help the storm that muchI’ve been to Melbourne twice in the last 6 months. I saw people wearing Storm jerseys but not once did I see anyone in a Rebels jersey or even any mention of them.
sounds bad for RU in AustraliaMore hard reading for @RL The greatest game and @lynx000 .

Minimal cross over between fans - the Rebels would be the least visible professional sport team in the nation. I mentioned the Rebels impending demise to a large bunch of blokes that are big sports fans here (AFL, NBA and cricket mainly but we occasionally talk about Storm or SOO). The only one who had even heard of the Rebels was a former NRL player. Everyone knows the Wallabies, and some used to go to the occasional Wallabies game (not recently) but the Rebels will not be missed.don't think it will help much if the Rebels fold except perhaps

RU is mainly in the inner and middle suburbs and RL is all outer suburbs.
Regarding juniors, NRLVic would want to get a couple of junior clubs up and running within 20km of AAMI Park next season to try to grab some of the kids playing RU. There is a League Stars clinic in Bentleigh East, that is about in ‘RU territory‘.
Hence why they are 20mill in the holeI've been to a few games, because they are always giving away tickets to corp boxes etc.

Sounds even worse for Zelensky.sounds bad for RU in Australia
Zelensky is just like ARU. Asks everyone else for funds to prolong something that is already dead. Difference is we all know where Zelensky’s money goes.Sounds even worse for Zelensky.
