What's the bet there will be an article with the toffs talking about "bringing Valance home" after that debut? Parasite code.

Well done to Wayne for identifying his talent and bringing him over. I'm sure there are other players not in the Wallaby's that could make the transition.
Warbrick at the Storm is another Rugby convert killing it and I believe the sharks have an Australian Rugby 7 player who'll make his debut soon.

You can laugh all you want but obviously you are going to be extremely biased.

Professional rugby is a lot different from amateur/grade rugby. Running back and forth ten meters after every single tackle in defence gets very repetitive and tiring. Not a problem when you’re not the one doing it though.

Do you have a point?

I'm pretty sure Australian rugby isn't poaching players to play grade rugby.

For the lazy forwards catching their breath & delaying at every stoppage, or the cold catching backs? More to do 🤣
There is about the same amount of stoppages in amateur/grade rugby and league from my experience. You also don't have to run back and forth ten meters the whole game. It gets pretty repetitive and tiring.

Oh my mistake, I thought we were discussing the professional ranks of both codes.

re: stoppage time, I disagree. From my experiences, not even close.

I played both codes for 20+ years. Apart from the technicalities of the ruck and mauls, union is an easier game to play. There are repetitive aspects to both games, one is bogged down in a pigs breakfast & then kick, the other is a constant up 10m and then back 10m with more focus on the physical clash of each tackle. Union tackles are not as intense (although you do get the odd massive hit) they are more focused on what's going to happen in the next 2 or 3 phases. The physical contest you are involved in now, isn't as vital in union. Again, just my opinion.

Have heard lots of older blokes in the amateur scene say they switched to union in their late 20's/early 30's as far less physical and demanding on the body and means they can play longer and get injured less. And the social clubs are better!

Suaalli signs with rugby and his game has dropped. Interested to know if this is form, clubs have worked him out or he’s just given up

Everyone at the Roosters speaks very highly of him, dedicated and well prepared. I don't think he's one of those players that only plays well when it's a contract year.
I'd say his form is due to being moved to the centres and the Roosters being the 3rd worst attacking team.
But I wouldn't put it past Freddy to pick him in SOO, he's had a boner for him since day 1.

His mind is elsewhere
Watching that performance, I agree. I will say there were quite a few moments where his teammates chose not to give him the ball either. I think there is some merit to this story. Im expecting him to definitely go by the end of this year.
