* Marcus Bai to Bradford or NRL? (He rejected an extension offered by Leeds.)
* Chris McKenna to NRL? (Also rejected extension offered by Leeds.)
* George Carmont to Hull? (Offered release from Newcastle.)
* Karl Temata to Bradford or London? (NZ Warriors have given him permission to negotiate.)
* Stuart Reardon to Warrington or to stay at Bradford? (Not NRL.)

There's a thing called the Kolpak ruling, from another sport where an overseas (European) player took the sport to court in Europe for being excluded from a team on a quota basis.

Long story, but it basically means that some New Zealand players don't count in quotas like that in superleague, due to a trade arrangement NZ have with the EU (and that Australia doesn't) that would also hold in the courts in the same way the Kolpak ruling went down.

So V Anderson wouldn't count, and neither would Willie Talau. I think J-Cay was actually born in Aus, so he might count? But I think they are releasing Jason Hooper (another Aussie), so at worst their three quota players next year would be Lyon, Albert, J-Cay...

All that about Albert can be ignored. Smokescreen.

Terms with the Sharks for 2006-07 have been agreed to - just needs a release now which probably won't happen till St Helens secure a replacement.

Sparrow is Kimmorley and Orford another under Mimis??If so can we see a pattern happening here.People like Mimis is whats wrong with the game today.Fair enough the players need to get the best deal BUT to prolong negotiating a contract this long is crazy, he is trying to bleed clubs dry.He did the same with Gasnier tempting him to break his contract with the Dragons to get the money with Wigan,before that he strung the Dragons along before he originally put pen to paper.IMO that the managers are the ones at fault here.
