I agree with what you are saying here and just want to add that Capewell has scored 4 tries in just 7 games this year.

I really think he is underrated on this forum.

I do as well. Brought here for a reason.

It’d be foolish to change what’s been working. Kikau is a huge part of our attack, at the very least we need to make him a solid offer.

Absolutely. If he stays its great but we know that this squad can't stay together.

I would think Ivan will stick with value for his backrow. I feel Kikau would have to stay for unders.

How many were from falling on grubbers though? I don't hold up those tries anywhere near those where the player brakes though the line OR contests a kick in the air.

That just means that he has a good combination going with the halves.

its all still 4 points.

Kikau creates opportunities through his presence alone I think that is well used by the coaching staff. I think he has been very good this year we should be trying to keep him. But there is no doubt more talent coming through despite the delays this year, we will be fine if we lose him.

when we signed him he was fielding offers from more than a few clubs.
I don’t think anyone under rates capewell at all, he has been rock solid and dangerous in every game he has played for us.
He is only on a short contract though and will find himself smack bang in the middle of some tricky salary cap problems with probably just as much interest as kikau would get.

At the moment he is a bench player, unless that changes he is an option to free up dollars.

He gets another big chance to impress next weekend and I think will continue to impress.
I would certainly like to keep him if we did loose villy.

Aekins going to Raiders apparently

Good move for him. The emergence of Staines and Laurie leave him pretty unlikely to get another sustained FG run like he did this year.

They don't have anyone behind CNK do they?

They seem to have plenty of talent but I think they have used cotric as back up and he’s going to the dogs

Aekins seems like a guy that needs a bit more confidence. Similar to how Edwards used to be. Ricky has a rep of backing his players to the hilt so hopefully he develops that under Ricky.

Exactly. He will improve with game time. He was slowly getting more involved with each game. Too many on this forum expect a player to be brilliant from game 1 in the NRL That will very rarely be the case.

They won Jersey Flegg last year. That Cook that played in Round 20 is a beast
