Sticky was the greatest coach of all time, until people realised that he inherited his winning rosters and then ran them down...Trent Robinson isn’t a good coach? Really..... based on what? A post match interview or 2?

Robinson has had more sustained success than Ricky, he started off with a great roster, got a premiership followed by the crash back to reality. He then coached through the rebuild back to the top. The Roosters obviously are well resourced & tend to attract the players they need, but there is no doubt Robinson is a very good coach. Stick seems to have found his groove now too, it's taken a while, but he has done a great job in Canberra.Sticky was the greatest coach of all time, until people realised that he inherited his winning rosters and then ran them down...
I would love to see Robinson coach younger players, instead of experienced players. Oh and I do realize that.
Robinson is a complete coach, he has coached some excellent young players through to first grade, but, he also manages his roster extremely well. His team is always really well balanced with youth and experience.
His reputation is what attracts the likes of Teddy, Cronk, Morris etc.
Everyone likes to put shit on the Roosters (Me particularly) for buying premierships. But that’s a myth, they are very well managed team and coached by one of the best in the business.
I stand by what I've said. The Roosters are the darling of the NRL. Everyone knows that.

14 of the Roosters Top 30 players have ONLY played under Trent Robinson. 4 of those have already gone on to play rep footy.
On top of that, you have Boyd Cordner, who had only played 29 games before Robinson came on board in 2013 - and under his guidance repped NSW and Australia that year. And also Kyle Flanaghan who only had 9 games under his belt.
Robinson has coached PLENTY of youngsters - and developed them into first graders. Yes he supplements his squad with experienced campaigners, but don't we all?
And he gets results - 3 premierships, 3 more Prelim Finals appearances. 65% overall win rate.
???
I think it's more a case of Politis being such a good operator. He is obviously a hell of a salesman & uses his skills to get what he want's. I consider Souths more of the NRL's love child that the Roosters, The Chooks have never been given the rails run on the field in comparison to Souths 2014.I stand by what I've said. The Roosters, usually, have the rules bent for them, for example, signing Sonny Bill Williams.

What rules where bent to sign Sonny Bill?
After June 30 I think. Plus he had an existing contract with another club, typically the NRL don’t allow those signings until the contract has been terminated.
