I always have Jane, since the day I joined 8 years ago.
So Yes, I will continue to agree / disagree with people and be able to rationally explain why either way, without name calling or petty insults.

That’s how I roll.
Usually that's how I roll too. Have a great day.

I never said he was a must keep *at any cost*, I said it hasn’t been a good off season if we lose him. Those aren’t necessarily the same thing. It’s just a value judgement of how the off season would’ve gone.

Condescend away, it’s you that hasn’t understood my argument.

Mate the statement was as straightforward as it gets. If we don’t keep him it’s a failure. Spin it another way if you like but that is what you said.

It would be really terrible if we lost him but if it happens because we refused to pay a ridiculous price for him then I’d call that good management not a failure at all.

People have said we should’ve kept Heathro if we didn’t have leniu secured but let’s think about that. If the dogs don’t get heathro then they have even more need to sign leniu and more money to do it with meanwhile we have less money. We have given ourselves the best chance at keeping leniu, Tamou gone, Heathro gone. Keeping either would of really hurt our chances at keeping leniu. Leniu wants to get paid there’s nothing wrong with that and nothing we can do about it if he’s doesn’t extend early we have to just do our best without being ridiculous.

The reality is if the worst happens and Leniu does leave and wants out this year we could get by with just a good bench prop in return in terms of our depth. Leota steps into Tamou’s spot and Eisenhuth onto the bench. That’s pretty solid and with potential player development we could easily end up a better forward pack.

They’ve taken some risks to try and keep leniu and I think most would agree he is worth those risks but if we do lose him we can get buy just fine by bringing in someone for depth short term and then either developing another high potential guy or stealing one from another club.

Apparently Lindsay Smith has huge wraps on him, and given that he was signed in the top squad, not a development contract, makes me think that he will debut next year.

Yes, but I didn’t mean we should pay any price. I’m judging the totality of the off season, losing Tamou, Burton and then Leniu would be a failure. That doesn’t mean go out and give Leniu $800k, it just means as a whole our re-singing strategy has failed.

Good management in not overpaying Leniu isn’t necessarily at odds with the totality of the off season retention having failed.

That’s such a average front row compared to 2020. Last year Leniu couldn’t make the team for some games, now Eisenhuth would be our 4th best prop.

You’re trying to justify a shit sandwich. We built our success off our front row, Cleary needs a front row that roles through the middle. We’ll be soft as pudding when Eisenhuth comes on.

Having Eisenhuth in the team is far from a shit sandwich mate - The way it sounds, we've just named Travis Burns in the front row...

Eisenhuth is also a FAR CRY from soft as pudding as well - I suggest you watch the games he's played - The guy is not soft by any stretch.

Yeah I wouldn’t be thrilled with a rotation of Fish, Leota, Tetevano and Eisenhuth. One of the first 3 goes down and you have Eisenhuth and Smith/journeyman signing bringing the go forward for half an hour.
If that was our rotation we would need Mansour in the team again to get us out of our end.
