I could be wrong but Leniu is a special talent.

It’s not for me to decide how much money we outlay to retain Leniu the powers that be are much more in a better position to determine that than me what would I know.

All I know is he has huge potential, much more potential than just about any of our current forwards and that includes Kikau.

I really see Leniu as being our future, our enforcer, our equivalent of a David Fifita so it would be devastating to lose him in my opinion.

I think he’s special also but it doesn’t make him worth blowing out our cap. He’s still just a prop at the end of the day and having a strong deep pack is more important than hanging onto Leniu.

You’ve mentioned Fifita and I’ll throw haas. Two extremely talented young forwards, could easily end up better players than leniu. How did their team go last year? Having the best young forward pack didn’t help Brisbane much and in the end Fifita still left.

I miss Umina. We had some great discussions and I thanks to the great Moylan vs Jimmy debate, I won a Jersey off him! Which he paid up!

There was no rumour, i know coz i was just spitballing who from the dogs would be a suitable swap incase burton was to leave early, me and betcats started mentioning Wakeham as a young prospect, then most folks here started to think it was a rumour, when it was just chineese whispers of spitballing here on this forum/thread

I was just giving some context to why Wakeham was been mentioned, didnt need a lecture on perfection and the human condition, i wasnt attacking anyone, no do i care that it is/isn't a rumour,
It was just context
