? yet here we sit with Leota, Fish and Lenui. Who would have thought !
You need to read what I said throughout history. I agree jFH has been one of the best.
Leota and Lenui come off the bench and are yet to prove them self. As I said there has been a shortage of qualitity front rowers Penrith has produced compared to other positions.

If they are trying to get upgrades for their 2021 contracts that isn’t far off what Crichton is doing. What is the delay with Luai and Yeo being signed? The article from the Australian was from a month ago saying Jerome and Isaah had been offered deals.

Also Blade and Franklin have both said that Critta hasn’t even got an offer from another club and the only reason for that could be he hasn’t spoken to another club. I just don’t see why the delay with Crichton is different to the other two.

Sorry way late. Just can't get on as much. There is definitely a different perception with the handshake agreement and then Blade said to expect it weeks ago then himself said he was annoyed at the manager for messing around. We've had no such thing with the others. Maybe it's just the high profile status of a guy like Crichton creating a narrative maybe not I can't say 100% I'm right and you guys are wrong.

Yep. This sky is falling that was meant to happen after Gus went is no where near happening

Well said. Some of the carryon by folks especially after only falling at the last hurdle is quite astounding.

Many players in 2020 had breakout years....hence they required salary upgrades. We were always going to loose a couple of fringe players.

The player who re-signed that I am so thrilled about is Spencer Lenui. So many tomorrows. Great footwork and legspeed.

Yet some on here, murraymob take note, are not happy.

Remember Cleary re-signed for his new deal in December. That was in a normal season we are 7 weeks behind due to the when stuff ended.

Not many teams had our depth last year. Looks like we are just coming down to the standard level due to the salary cap doing it's job. Apparently that Lindsay Smith kid is really good.

You say that yet this is likely our NSW Cup backline

Laurie
Mansour
Whare
Salmon
Jennings/Naden
Burton
Hands

Should be right up there again next year. Flegg and Ball are stacked

Yes the time is the same by coincidence in this case as the deal was suppose to have been done by now but delayed. Where the others are just going through the normal process (as far as we know)

Yeah it isn't horrible though how many people want to rely on guys like Whare now? I'm also including the discussion around Luarie and Burton moving on.

I'm saying it's standard to have this happen rather than some kind of roster management incompetence.

I don’t think many clubs are letting their coaches control recruitment and rentention completely like it has been in the past. Even very successful coaches like Bennett and Des have created serious salary cap headaches for their clubs in recent years when they had little oversight. No doubt the coaches will always get the biggest say but it’s been proven giving a coach complete control can end very badly. Matt Cameron has done very well in his time here, I think he has proven he has a great brain for player development with his work rebuilding that whole aspect of our club. Now that he is head of the football department I just don’t see Cameron letting cleary or any coach have complete control of recruitment and rentention.

Still part of the squad. Still better than most centres in that comp

Neither of them will move on early. Both will be replaced well enough

Are Yeo and Luai done yet? All 3 finished their seasons at the same time. For that matter plenty of key players across the comp still not signed. Even some that weren't in Origin

Matt Cameron was responsible for putting decent Parra squads together in the early 00's. Gus even admitted he was behind the plans for the academy.

Coach would say the type they want. Cameron gets it done
