Laurie doesn't play FG barring injuries. Given Naden's issues. Staines injury history.. Cini is more chance of getting gametime this year. Can push for the centre spot long term. Makes sense

Would be nice to see him do something before gets gets first grade status.All I have seen so far is Cini played ball .So have hundreds before him and many have never gone on to be good enough to make first grade

It's no guarantee he will be a star, but it's a somewhat like for like deal at at least. Laurie has a truckload of potential, but he isn't an established 1st grader yet. At least Cini can play in a position we are short in. Also as nice as it would have been to keep him, Laurie is gone in a year regardless, better to invest resources into someone we may keep longer.

I doubt he’d start the season in FG. Only way our right centre isn’t Dean Whare in round 1 is if we buy an established first grader.

Had a full season of F/T behind him. No worse then any other depth players. Would still be a few guys above him I still think better than an old guy with no future here

That is how I see it. I have Jennings, Naden ( if not suspended) Whare still in front. In Round 10 who knows.. get him for multiple seasons too hopefully

You know IC will probably play May or Capewell at centre

On SOO form Capewell can do a job. Thankifully we are light on edge backrowers

Almost anyone at this point I've never seen a player decline like Whare. Id go as far as picking Robert Jennings over him if we don't sign anyone

To be fair to the guy, it all followed his ACL injury. He was a brilliant centre before that. He set up a huge number of tries for the Limo, in addition to being great in defence.

Unfortunately he has never been the same since his ACL. He lost one yard of pace, which has made all the difference to him being able to achieve anything in attack. He remains in the team only for his defence and presumably influence on younger players.

I think he wants to stay. The problem is greasy manager is looking to drive up his price.

Spencer isn’t that good to worry about, Critter, Romey and Yeo are the ones worth fighting to keep. If Spencer gets a better deal, good luck to him.

Disagree with Spencer. For the limited games he had, he looked the goods.

Spencer is a keeper, even at this stage he's better than Tetavano and Leota in my opinion
