No we don't, but Farah is a lot better then any hooker we currently have. Potentially we would be a better side with him.

We have enough issues in the boardroom without adding a further distraction to the club. Has been, reportedly, the main instigator behind two coaches being let go and a couple of higher profile players. Yes, talented player but it's amazing how it took reports of him being let go by the Tigers to have quite possibly the best game of his season outside of Origin.

"#9s" are the new "backrowers" - you can never have enough

if pritchard could ever manage to get on the field for a period of time I think he'd be great .... he was sensational against the warriors - real shame he got injured

Yes he was very impressive in that game, especially with how much footy he's missed over the past few years and his limited nrl experience .
And I'm excited to see what king can do for our club.
If we get Cornish or miller, and a good outside back or two, things will be looking very positive for 2016.

Farah is a leader when his attitude is on though.

And a great competitor.

Would also add to our kicking game which may have some questionmarks over it next year?

It could only happen if peats' injury was career ending or threatening though surely.

I think he's a much better player than pears and we would be very good top eight chances with him in the side, even with our very average outside backs (semi excepted).

Farrah? No way for mine.
Coach killer and a club killer. One giant sook. Wouldnt have him sell hot dogs at the ground.

Wait - are you suggesting we aren't a top 8 chance for 2016?

Yeah Farrah could have a difficult personality but really if he was that bad would NSW continue to pick him?

He might just have a personality that needs a strong coach to control. And really at the Tigers what players have they really had that could challenge him? They are a bunch of rookies. Plenty of experience at the eels that wouldnt take his shit and put him in his place.

Whatever team he goes to he will no longer own. So he will be different. The fact that he is the Tigers captain, best player etc. let's him have that control in many people's eyes. He will not have that at a new club.

He is a sly bastard that's for sure, he would be loving that the media and fans have taken his side even though I believe Taylor has 100% made the correct decision.

Who have NSW had to play at hooker besides Farah? Ennis has been used and failed miserably. The rest of the prospects have had limited exposure to finals football let alone rep football. After Farah and Ennis, other than Peats and maybe Mitch Rein, the rest of the top hookers in the game are either Qlders or Kiwis.

The thing about Farah is, his best days are behind him - he played his best game of the season last Sunday after he was told he was no longer wanted. That doesn't paint him in a favourable light IMO. But perhaps a change of scenery would see more performances like that but I wouldn't risk it tbh, especially with the disruptive influence he seems to have internally...

If we view Foran and Norman as our long term halves pairing, with Gordon in place until French is ready to play fullback, then Peats, with age on his side, should suffice in the number 9. He tackles all day, leads the line speed and poses a threat out of dummy half. I do though worry about his injury history a little. He seems to have no thought of self preservation and while that is sometimes par for the course for an NRL forward, his body may not be able to sustain his style of play long term...

The advantage of a side (not ours thanks) in picking Farrah up is that he's owed 2 years at backend rates.

So if he goes to Tits (for example) then they might get him for $4/500k and then the Tigers will pick up the rest which I understand is another $4/500k per year.

Wherever Farah goes he will bring a wealth of experience and skill.
But he will also bring along a poor attitude and massive ego.

He might be the right fit for some club out there, but not at the Eels.
We have a young up-and-coming hooker, who some have earmarked as the next NSW number 9.
Farah is coming to the end of his career (next year he will be 32).

It's not a hard choice at all.

No f**kwit I'm not. You have made that up yourself.

You stupid merkins do this all the time. You completely misquote the person you are arguing with them think you are clever for defeating the argument.

It's the sign of a deadshit with no idea.

One of Pou pou's favourite tricks.

Go f**k yourself.

You can't be serious? Norman has to be a priority re-signing in the off season.

Not saying I want to lose him because I don't I think he's a priority but if he gets a better offer elsewhere or he and Foran don't gel then Cornish isn't a bad second option
