Someone please correct me here but doesn't muchmore hold a club record for most tries in a match at any grade?? 5 I think??

Lyon got 5 against the Sharkies.

But yeh, the long standing record was either Muchmore, or a bloke with a similar name who drifted into the side as an outside back in the mid 80s.

I saw David Penna score like 5 tries in Presidents Cup and then a few more in reggies or FG.

Vs Souths @ SFS.

Agreed. I barracked for him with the potential he has but despite glimpses of form this year he didn't step up and stake a claim when there were often several spots wide open in first grade.

As for your good news, the first two vacancies that come to mind are CEO and Strength/Conditioning Coach. Close?

Yep. I remember this well. Got heaps of press. Was going to be the "Next Big Thing". Wasnt unfortunately.

My memory isn't as good as Caspers, but I think on that day Penna played in all 3 grades, and scored a total of 7 tries on the day?

I'm certain he at least scored a couple in reserve grade after the 5 try haul in presidents cup - can't recall if he got on in first grade.

It is an impressive effort, but I scored 9 tries in a touch footy comp match (we lost 11-10). Casper couldn't contain my electric pace out wide, and with Pou in at middle half, opportunities were abundant. Unfortunately on the day Bigfella was defending one in from touch, and a 13 year old whippersnapper took him to the cleaners (think his name was Ryan - but they kept yelling 'go Morgs') - after the game we threw Bigfella in the septic tank. I imagine he holds some kind of grudge against the young bloke to this day.
